Honestly, I felt that I played like **** in these videos (I was johntastic in my initial post on the tournament discussion thread). I actually played Sethlon first, then K Prime, then Phantom X in that order.

As I said though, I felt that I played horribly in the Seth matches in terms of my approaches and lack of edge game.
Against Phantom X, I don't think I EVER saw a tilt, as well as my *******ery of running into bite and chopper several times.
The K Prime matches, I did misteaks and stupid crap here and there, but I believe I only won because I didn't get punished enough for it.

Oh, and it wasn't the SCROD like I believed it to be in the 3rd match vs. K Prime. The platform was moving the OPPOSITE way when I hit him.

So yeah, enough of my *****ing, enjoy the vids.

I wanna try some SCROD setups over vacation. Perhaps Dthrow away from platform, the randomly jumping away from my opponent onto the platform, and as opponent comes to chase, SDR into SCROD XD.

I should go to an NY tourney of vacation, and try to do it in a tourney. If any Sonic gets to pull it off on M2K or something, that would be ultimate steak, even if he doesnt win XD.

37 Damage in half a second from and SDR/ASC alone, no followups or anything. Its not that hard to replicate have pulled it off a couple of times in real matches. Most damage I've done is 44%, but that was in training mode with no staling, so yea.

I was thinking of making another Sonic guide/tutorial/whatever vid again... but I'm kinda out of ideas. Maybe a gimping guide or cover a few stuff I left out of Lightspeed (spinshotting, for example), jab lock setups, etc.

Those were some nice matches, but jesus christ...
SoNiK made some TERRIBLE choices in that second DK match. He slowed down too much as well, so the pace shifted to DK.

You cannot win if you pace yourself at DK's speeds.

EDIT:

I saw your 4th match vs. Kirk KID.
You play like an anti-hero of a cartoon show that would rival the looney tunes.

You do wacky little maneuvers that amuse and entertain, but prove overall ineffective or just a minor inconveniance.

Best example would be that crap you did at 1:08.

That is why I sparingly use that. If even Ike can keep up with you, then why try it?

Although I do gotta say that you do have a way with uair and reading spot dodges. That is sexy in and of itself.

spindash hop to up air is probably my most used move just because its one of the 3-4 garanteed damage strings that he has...

also, kirk punishes my recovery better than anybody else, i think that match i was bragging about how he couldnt do anything about it... thats why i did it so much.

lol, I love sideB cancel, it's so fun.

Oh, and I absolutely love trying to read tech chases while watching matches, especially when I'm right, and even moreso when the player punishes the tech perfectly.

For example, I smiled pretty big when I guessed successfully that he would roll to the right at 5:04.

And I laughed when I saw you start up a fsmash, because I knew it was over.

Updated. SoNiK's vids are up, as are KID's videos. The WDT section has also been slightly updated.

I'll be hosting another WDT Vote sometime in January, one that will categorize based on Matches/Tutorial/Random Vids, and one based on Combo Videos.

I may be uploading some new WiFi goods sometime next week.

Although, Devin, my Marth guy, has picked up D3... and his spotdodge/Oo antics are far deadlier. As KID noted in our Pit exhibition... not getting grabbed... hmm... tough. D3 watching time. General tips?? I "overstretched Bair, and his grab is long enough to punish. Dropping that helped, but was too late...

Minor update. Added pein's videos, as well as that lulzy Meta Knight video I posted.

I'm probably going to split up the Misc. section into three different sections. Combo Videos and Tutorials will be in one section, while everything else will be in another, still titled Misc.

The Combo Vids and Tutorials will be set under a section of their own, probably labeled as such.

Perhaps labeled as "Learn to Steak".
