I haven't played a competent Peach main, so unfortunately I cannot really add any input without it being flawed or just wrong.

However, I would think a proper spacing against her dair, and punishing the end lag to the move with a DACUS may work.

Personally, I'd just hang back and punish their approaches. I'm sure many of Peach's attacks have some sort of lag to punish. Fair, dair, etc.

Oh, and fyi, there's a good 50/50-75/25 chance that I'm gonna ditto Mr. 3000 this Saturday.

Puffball vs. 3000. That alone sounds pretty steaktastic.

Alright I'll give a real overview now (but holy crap Leagan is sexy)

Tucker doesn't seem to know the complexity of Sonic. I didn't see ASC, ASC shield canceling, spinshots, SideB cancels, nothing. Sonic relies heavily on baiting and punishing. ASC and SideB cancels are great ways for baiting people into doing something. Also, he should take advantage of Sonic's throw options. For example:

Uthrow >SideB (your opponent could react like "Oh no! He's going to hit me as a ball" and then airdodge. While they're falling from the airdodge...) >SideB cancel (What's this? After the airdodge is over...)>Regrab.

I suggest he reads or stickies XD

I updated, adding in the matches linked my Milk, and the updates Chis did in his own thread.

The guy who video'd the matches at FS5 said to give him at least 3 days to set up his shiz.
I'll be linking to the vids asap.

Cama, I'm gonna disagree about Tucker. He used a few spinshots and ASC once (2hits), so he knows some Sonic stuff. In the second match I saw a neat jab-jab (hits off platform) > Nair falling off the platform that I thought was cool. :)

But yeah he needs to learn some of the basics, like how awesome shieldgrabbing / grabbing in general with Sonic is, fakeouts with the spindashes, momentum-cancelling, etc. Does Tucker go on smashboards? He should come talk to us :)

yeah that Link was beast tho lol.

legan needs more practice against Projectile characters if he ever want to get better with sonic. Link is the least of his worries. Links poor recovery didn't even come into play meaning his edge game was lacking the whole time. but man, that link was so technical... i loved watching the link more.

so yeah, legan, just practice against projectile guys more and u be gudz too.

Was that in the second match?

I only watched the first one and I didn't see any ASC...ah well.

that obvious? btw, its only recently i've been spamming uair this much. I'm trying to add it to my game. that hardest part is the spacing, and i was trying to see how much i can get away with spamming it. and for the most part I did. I played a Pokemon Trainer and a Snake today same idea, same results for the most part...

I watched another one of your matches, match 10. Again, you're awesome, lol. You do some steak stuff with Sonic and it's very impressive. I hope you plan on attending big tournaments soon :3

From this past Saturdays Smashfest/Tourney

Random, lol

JMan (Sonic) vs Dat (G&W) R2 (didn't record the first round... pirate ship 3 stock vs Tink, lol :p) (2 3 stocks in that tourney, btw... ;)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZV3gaHMf0k&feature=channel_page

And finally, some teams shennaningans, "Low Tier Heroes" i suggest everyone find a hella good C Falc, its a pwnsome duo, xD Unfortunatley, we didin't record our darn near 6 stock vs NC rank 1 player, lol :p

Grandfinals: (Undeafeated in sets baby!)
JMan (Sonic)+ ARS (C Falcon) vs Epic (Bowser)+ Dat (G&W) R1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewBPF489dIM&feature=channel_page

Beat them 1st set/round btw...so they pretty much random selected for R2 GF set, the last match
JMan (Sonic)+ARS (C Falcon) vs Epic (Pit)+ Dat (Sonic) R2 (and teh lulz, xD)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxQA6xK8RRo&feature=channel_page

And when i lost... :(

JMan (Sonic) vs Crio (Falco)R1
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nf0H1pCZe8I&feature=channel_page

JMan (Sonic) vs Crio (Marth)R2 (Good comeback, imho)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6rztiPSpJI&feature=channel_page

JMan (Sonic) vs Crio (Fox) R3 (....)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_AA3KV3a4E&feature=channel_page

So... yea... 1st in teams... 5th due to that R3 epic fail....

Edit: Commentary is so winxD

I've updated with Jay's and JMan's videos.

The Final Smash 5 videos have been starting to slowly show up on Youtube, but nothing of my doing is up just yet, so stay patient. They should be up by today or tomorrow.
