Saw the Mario movie, loved it!

I really liked every bit of it, but I think my favorite part was when Mario and Luigi finally got back together, grabbed the super star, and proceeded to beat Bowser. It was just really cool seeing the Bros. be heroes together All the references were cool too, I liked seeing King Boo and King Bob-omb, and all the other cool characters and stuff! The main cast were all awesome as well! Also, Mario and Luigi get a whole family! (well, I guess they may have at least had a mom and dad in the past, maybe in one of the old cartoons or something? I’m not sure if they did or if their family ever got screen time, but still, they didn’t get family like this I don’t think)

I read there was a post-credits scene, but I didn’t stay long enough to see it; maybe I can find it online or see it next month when it comes to digital. I could’ve stayed to see it if I had just told my Dad and step-Mom, they took me. I just wasn’t sure if they wanted to leave or not, plus the crowded theater probably made me a bit nervous to speak, but we already got to the car when I spoke up about it They liked it too!

I'm pretty sure Daisy doesn't exist in the movie universe... yet. Peach wouldn't have reacted to Mario that after first seeing him have she encountered another human monarch like her, and I find it unlikely she would just not have heard of her kingdom since she seemed very worldly.

So... if Daisy ever appears in a sequel, she'd be from one of those "other universes"

Rosalina, Wario, and Waluigi would all apply under this as well. Tho while the other 2 (plus Daisy) could easily come from Brooklyn, Rosalina has the easy ability of just chilling in space and appearing when needed…or whenever she feels like it. Maybe one of them ends up finding the Yoshi first if neither Mario nor Mama Luigi sees him.

I mean, it's not like those genres never see new releases. Superheroes are definitely going to stop being The Big Thing one day, but we're still probably going to see at least one every few years for forever. Sony has to **** out a spiderman every five years to keep the rights, and I can't imagine Warner and Disney will ever see Batman or Avengers or whatever as properties that should never get a movie ever again.

I defended giving Mario to Illumination from day 1 but I have, uh, mixed feelings about giving Zelda to them at best.

I guess if they went with Toon Link it'd work, but given how BotW is the current hotness it'd probably be better to give it to an anime studio.
