This is a mix of Pitch and wishlist for a big zelda Actionfigure/ Plush Line! I picked out mostly stuff thatll sell well and is not too overdone!
(Okay the champions would be but even they dont really have "toys" per se)
You might ask OL Why dont you buy stuff on etsy or amibos? Theres one reason i wanna play with these Suckers and amiibos and statues cant be played with!
Not everyone on this list is one of my wishes but stuff like TOTK Link and Zelda had to be there!
I would get:
Toon Link X1 (i already have a bunch of t link action figures / Plushes
Ganondorf X 2-3
Link TP x 1
Impa- Riju X 1
LINK LAR x 4
Toon Zelda x 2 And a bunch of enemys
Of course only if i have the money for them but yeah!

Scott went through 8 directors and 15 scripts, so I’m expecting it to be at least an 8/10. If he was that picky, then I hope it will be a strong enough adaptation of the games. I don’t think it will be bad regardless though.
I’d take that as a good sign if the books and the current story direction didn’t prove that Scott is an awful writer (also probably an awful human being but that’s besides the point).

I still love the idea of Mario DLC where he platforms through other franchises. DKC, Wario Land, Yoshi's Island, Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Splatoon, Animal Crossing, all perfect candidates.

Finally beat the last story in Sonic Superstars.

This might not be the most polished or innovative game out there but damn if I didn't enjoy the hell out of it.

ONe small gripe I have with Wonder, frome the time I spent with it at a GameStop demo kiosk, when Peach has the glide cap badge she doesn't just use her dress like in older games, she pulls out a pink hat.

It's great, idk if I'm gonna replay it as much as Mania as it's on my ps5 instead of my Switch and a physical game, but ****, as much as I love Mania, I can't say I didn't enjoy the new stages, only need 1 more achievement but I can't get it on my own and I can always do time attack if I want to replay zones without bosses, Arzest redemption arc was real after all.

Also we need Trip to be a mainstay, haven't had a character this fun since Blaze

The one thing I don't like about Trip is that her super form gets to be golden and Amy Rose's does not. IMO, I thought the rule was Hedgehogs got gold, other species got other things.

The rule is there are no rules. They were asked for a reason why only the hedgehogs turned gold, and scrambled up a response on the fly.

It would be cool though, but Sega makes super fun characters for 2 games and then they're never seen again (RIP Cream and Blaze).

That said, would they put Trip in a modern game? It won't contradict anything, it's just SEGA loves the two seperate universes schtick and idk why (unless they realized how dumb it is)

Again, they've been bending this batch of rules for a while now, we've had both the social media and Iizuka say that Superstars happened in canon for the Modern counterparts, Iizuka even giving it a timeline placement. ****, Superstars also has a cameo of a Modern character in the final zone

I find Rush adventure very underrated.

It had some of the more unique stages in a 2D Sonic setting. It being entirely in the tropics led us to a Jurrasic Park like jungle stage, an abandoned pirate ship, an underwater sea cave. These were neat.

Probably my favorite "Collect the chaos emeralds" minigame too.
I think I liked Rush and Rush Adventure about the same but the pirate motif in Rush Adventure was fun. I really should replay those games, too bad they will probably never see a release thanks to being so tied to the DS hardware.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do, but with pirates. If you're gonna replay those two, I wanna recommend Colours DS too, it's pretty much Rush 3 but with a larger emphasis on platforming as they toned the boost down

I'm convinced after replaying them on an emulator that modding could be used to allow a re-release that only used buttons for all three.

That's fair, then it's the matter of will SEGA let her see the light of day again? They already don't utilize very popular Sonic characters properly as is.

I feel they're getting better in that regard, Murder of Sonic The Hedgehog celebrates the cast, particular some characters who haven't been in games for a while, the IDW comics are really popular which uses both old and new characters from OCs, Blaze, Team Chaotix, the Rabbits and Gemerl, Frontiers acknowledges Maria, Tangle, the Babylon Rogues and more. Pretty much everything the series has gotten since the comics has been doing well too which is important, Frontiers being the best selling game in 20 years and Superstars already having sold a massive bulk of Mania's sales in like 2 days

They really need a game that celebrates all of sonic's characters and all corners of the franchise. Mainline game with Heroes/Adventure style gameplay, Kart racer, fighting game, idk. Just something.
Fighting game would be the game that would probably let the characters shine given it would take advantage of their powers and abilities and stuff, that’s why I’ve way too much time into my idea of Sonic Clash

I wouldn’t say bad, moreso just extremely underutilized and completely brushed aside by the developers and most of the fanbase
That's fair, but compared to Amy, Cream, Blaze, Merlina, Sage, Tangle, Whisper, Sticks, Surge and now Trip, she's clearly less liked than the rest.

Also, I cannot believe I forgot this because Scrapnik Island was ****ing peak but IDW recently brought back Mecha Sonic from Sonic 3. That split universes mandate is 100% dead

Also Marine is like. The one bad female Sonic character
I know you're probably forgetting about Zeena from Lost World, but the off chance that you're calling her NOT a bad character (or at least better than Marine) makes me happier than it really should

I still don't know why out of all Sonic characters, Zeena is the one I've committed to loving, defending and wanting to see more of, but that's just one of the many, many Ls I have taken as a Sonic the Hedgehog fan

She's not much of a character, tbh. She's the generic girl archetype in a team that consists of other generic archetypes.

Behold, Sonic's greatest enemies yet! Fat, Crazy, Emo, Old, Girl, and Leader!

Breaking Sonic characters into 3 characters teams, for me, has always been complicated by the presence of Sticks and Gemeral. They don’t fit with any of the characters who are team less, they don’t fit with each other, and they have associations with characters who are already on comfortable team compositions. They annoy me for this reason.

Which I'm aware of. And that lets me project other traits onto her for what she's like when she's not scrapping with Sonic.

Like...I've HCed her as a lover of spaghetti, a fan of emo rap music, and I've given her an emotional and tragic backstory that we have no time to get into.

I know what she's like in IDW, but I generally see that as a separate universe. This is just how I see her in the games' universe.

She doesn’t have much extra personality in IDW either. None of the Deadly Six do. Tbh I really only think Ian Flynn uses the Zeti just because they’re some of the only characters he can.

I do have a few problems with Superstars despite liking it a lot. I think a few of the more creative stages are sadly limited to one act (like Cyber Station) and some of the less creative stages get multiple (Pinball Carnival). Personally I’d have sacraficed Pinball Carnival, Sky Temple, and Press Factory to expand some of the other more creatively themed one act stages.

Also, I love that Fang is here, but I feel like the game should have been a grand return for ALL of Team Hooligans. Bean and Bark could have made for excellent boss fights where you fight someone other than Eggman or one of his robots. Especially since Trip doesn’t get a Boss Fight with how the story shakes out.

But these are small things in the grand scheme of things.
