I'm pretty Shiver is repping Zombies which means she has to go up Big Man's Ghosts (which I'm siding with) and Frye's Skeletons.
I get the feeling that Skeletons are going to win.

we really need a proper mario/sonic crossover game that's not the olympics. An RPG, a platformer, a combat centric game of some kind, a kart racer, so many potential ideas.

I have a whole idea campaign idea around this but it will never happen the way i've thought through it so.... just thinking out loud i guess.

Just use the plot Ian Flynn thought up.

Bowser does something to piss of Eggman, Eggman decides to kidnap Peach to get back at him. Bowser sends the whole Koopa Troop to invade Mobius (or whatever you want to call it) and Mario, Sonic and friends are caught in the middle.

Mine involves multiverse shenanigans and multiple games released over the span of at least a year evoking the idea behind amalgam comics (without fusing characters together though) without Sega or Nintendo telling the audience what the hell they're doing until after the fact.

it’s always astonishing how Nintendo is the only company out of the Big 3 to condense so much into a small amount of gigs on a consistent basis (and even more impressive with this continuing on through cartridges)

Just because you have a million weird little hang ups that keep you from enjoying something radical doesn't mean the game isn't joyful.

Cuz it really freakin' is, you can tell it was made with love and enthusiasm. And yes it has its problems, it's not a perfect product. But the good vastly outweighs the bad here.

And in all seriousness, you're allowed to just not like something. That's fine, I don't care. My issue with you comes from your insistence on trying to damper the mood, dude. Everyone else is having fun with the best 2D Mario in decades, let them have their moment. Stop shoving in your "Um, actually- "s where no one asked for them.

I apologize if I come off as harsh here, but I get a bit annoyed when everyone's trying to have a good time and one gloomy goober is fighting to bring down the energy. I've been that guy, and trust me, no one likes that guy.

If you want to voice an opposing opinion, by all means. I'm not asking for blind conformity here. But maybe try and raise an actual point instead of passive aggressive comments on someone's happy post of enjoyment? Maybe?
