I just want to know what the bosses are man. I’ve been waiting in suspense for so long and I feel like that is a huge sticking point in terms of how creative they actually got. I don’t care about spoilers and I won’t be able to buy the

I just… even if they didn’t want to create actual characters they could have done what nsmbds did and just beefed up regular enemies in unique ways. The wonder flower provided a perfect opportunity for that. Like yeah Sonic repeats Eggman over and over but at least he uses a different mech and is supplemented by other robots, henchmen, and monsters. I had a gut feeling that this game wasn’t going to be as creative as it was letting on and so desperately wanted to be proven wrong but I guess not. But I’m gonna be the only one having all these problems with it I just know it. Or at least in the minority. I just need to chill. The game has only been out for an hour and a half and I haven’t even played it yet. Let’s just let it sit for a while…

See i'm not just comparing it to 2D Mario I'm comparing it to every other 2D platformer I've played and I really feel like they need to do better. That and the level themes in this game are not that unique or creative. compared to other games and past mario titles. Like, yeah the level design is really good (I assume). Yeah it's not set in the Mushroom Kingdom. Yeah you have the new art style. Yeah you have the badges and yeah you have the extra characters. But they've only gone so far in addressing Mario's creativity problem and I don't think it's far enough and it's certainly not up to the standard set by other 2D/Linear platformer games.

I'm actually kinda glad that my copy of Wonder isn't showing up for a few more days because now I have a little more time to focus on Superstars. Started a multiplayer run last night and it's super chaotic but also surprisingly enjoyable.

I'm planning to get Mario Wonder and Sonic Superstars after work tonight; I feel like it'll be safe to assume that Gamestop will have plenty of copies, and I'd prefer to get a physical copy. (partially because I like having physical copies of games, and partially because storage space on my Switch's SD card is extremely limited and larger SD cards are still quite expensive)

Felt this way since I wanna say the dedicated direct? Whenever they showed us a couple of the world names and archetypes for the first time. Maybe once I play it the pure level design and the ability to play as Peach will win me over entirely but idk. It doesn’t feel as ground breaking as it could have been.

I think you need to stop worrying soo much about what is/isn't in funny elephant game and just kick back and relax.
