There's pointing out the things they did to make the game more appealing to people who were on the fence and there's getting upset every time someone says "Man I wish they didn't cut one of my favourites, that's a real turn off". Like, I'm loving Sonic Superstars to the point I'm almost done with my fourth playthrough and still wanna do 2 more after that but I'm not gonna get upset whenever someone criticizes it or thinks they would rather wait for a discount, especially as times are hard and new video games are usually expensive. Don't blame people who are on the fence or critical if the game underperforms, just enjoy the game you have, it's shockingly easy

It would be easy if these friends I have in Discord servers weren't still going to be fence sitters if the game is subject to more "DEAD GAME NO ITEMS" posting despite, you know, having items.

I think they had ads before the Google buyout, but they've only gotten progressively worse since then.

First they added double, frequently if not always unskippable ads, then they added additional consecutive ads on top of those (the most I've heard of are up to 10 ads), then they started Youtube Premium to try and get people to give them more money in exchange for never getting ads, then tons of ads that are advertising outright scams got added to their rotation, and now, they're trying to crack down on adblocks because nobody wants to deal with them or spend money for something that used to be completely free on a platform that originally and for several years after it's launch didn't have ads at all.

Like, I get it, websites and video services need money to keep running. But does Youtube of all places really need this many freaking ads and a paid premium service to stay in operation?

My adblock just needs me to clear cache and it bypasses youtuber so I imagine it's like what happens when a game released with Denuvo. People get so soured they are determined to remove it out of sheer spite
