The thing that really gets me about Bonkers is that I’m actually a big fan of mystery shows and police procedurals, and one set in that kind of Roger Rabbit type world is actually really appealing to me. And the closest we’ve got to it is a show that’s just ok at it’s best and just a bunch of obnoxious noise at it’s worst.

This happens all the time, whenever a licensed song gets used in a trailer they have to pay licenses and royalties like anyone else.

For that trailer it was this song.

It also happened last year(?) when a Smash Bros. trailer got delisted because of an actress that appeared in it, the contract with her probably ran out.

Yeah, I went through a similar thing after all my classmates graduated or moved away. I still chat with them over Discord, but there's a specific energy of being able to interact in-person versus just sending the occasional text message

Take of unknown temperature: I kinda dislike how Modern and Classic Sonic have become different characters/series. It was cool in Generations as a one off thing but they doubled down on it after and it's just kinda weird. I don't like that Mighty and Fang (etc.) don't exist in the modern games and Shadow and Silver (.etc) will probably never be in a 2D platformer. Imagine if SMB1 to World was just an alternate universe to the "main" universe and Bowser Jr and Rosalina were banned from being in 2D Platformers

Funny you say that, as a recent video has the modern cast talk about Mighty and FANG. With Modern!Knuckles even talking about the event of Chaotix's. A classic game thought to be made not-canon due both it's failure but also due Vector, Charmy and Espio having widly different character. (they weren't even a group or knew each other to say the least)

Sooo maybe they're changing their way? They already reversed stuff like the "2 worlds" rules and Classic!Amy in Superstar has a DLC outfit that's her modern outfit. So there's hope.
