I played up until the last two levels of world one in wonder last night.

Piranha plants on parade is one of my favorites so far. Super memorable and I love that it feels like a Mario maker level, but in the best possible way.

I am looking forward to the rest of these levels! Even the small secrets scattered throughout each so far has been a lot of fun.

You know... if you took the character creator from Sonic Forces, expanded it a bit, and put it into a Sonic themed RPG that functioned like Baldur's Gate 3... you'd probably have a perfect Sonic RPG that pleased all the fans and got rave reviews.

And to be fair, considering just how many trash products they were pushing out year after year for a time, Sonic Team got off pretty easy. A lesser franchise would just be dead. Sonic is still mega popular, he'll just always get a lot of ****. Deserved or otherwise.

You're right about the fanbase being cursed. Even when they try to put out both a 3D and a 2D game to please multiple sides of the fanbase they can't get it right and they end up dividing the fanbase more.

Dude this game has Metal NiGHTS in it! You can make your multiplayer robot look like NiGHTS and if you set it up right that will be what you fight at the end of Cyber Station Zone! That is so cool!

Hard to say at the moment, but I do predict that general fans of the FNaF will like this film.

I heard that the review embargo will end on October 27th which is when the film will be released on the day. But at the same time, the film is also set to release on streaming on October 26th.

Super Mario Bros. Movie, the Sonic films and Detective Pikachu were decent video game film adaptations in my opinion.

I've watched a number of video game franchise films from past to present ones (that were dreadful) in which most of these don't follow source material such as the 1994 adaptation of Street Fighter, the DOA: Dead or Alive film to Monster Hunter.

Late to the topic, but the issue with Sonic is that even taking away the downright atrocious games (and there is quite a bit), Sonic has had a lot more mediocre and forgettable games that he has good. Like say what you will about critics and stuff but they would not be having a so called vendatta against Sonic if Sega actually stayed consistent and made good Sonic games.

Like there has been 10 Sonic platformers in the 2010s. Only three of them are considered good, and one of the ten is considered to be one of the worst games of all time.

I mean after Adventure 2, in terms of big budget, heavily marketed (aka Sonic Team games) you had Heroes (OK), Shadow (bad), 06 (Garbage), Secret Rings (Even Worse) and Unleashed (polarizing). Like you can't blame the bad reception when Sonic Team was incapable of making a game majority liked.

As for Dimps, they carried that. The Advance series did fine enough to warrant 2 sequels and Rush did pretty well, good reviews and sold over a million by 2007. Nobody played Rush Adventure but Rush was the better game anyways.

I find Rush adventure very underrated.

It had some of the more unique stages in a 2D Sonic setting. It being entirely in the tropics led us to a Jurrasic Park like jungle stage, an abandoned pirate ship, an underwater sea cave.These were neat.

Probably my favorite "Collect the chaos emeralds" minigame too.

Rush Adventure didn't completely fall apart in terms of level design for the second half so that's a point in its favor, too.

I would say Rush Adventure was better bit I did not like the sailing parts and the grinding to get all sailing materials. The 2D sections were better but I did not like the in between.

I just picked up Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Sonic Superstars. I realize that Sonic's been on Nintendo consoles for over 20 years now, but as someone who was around for the original Console Wars, it still feels a little surreal to see a Mario game and a Sonic game releasing within days of each other on the same platform.

(I don't have a PS5, so I'll have to settle for the Gamecube version of Spider-Man 2)

Scott went through 8 directors and 15 scripts, so I’m expecting it to be at least an 8/10. If he was that picky, then I hope it will be a strong enough adaptation of the games. I don’t think it will be bad regardless though.

They have heavily hinted that the band is involved in the movie. They played coy when asked about it, living tombstones teased a new song/anion cover recently that has not gone anywhere afaik, and they performed that exact song at universal Hollywood where the real animatronics were on display.
