I mean it has been for a while but the reviews for this one are just straight up saying this movie is just plain bad.

It just sucks because I was genuinelly looking forward to this one but looks like it's nowhere as near as cool as I thought it's be

Once I'm finished with HunterxHunter and then getting back to Vinland Saga (Assuming all of season 2 is released by then).

These are the following animes I tend to check out next.

Record of Ragnarok, Demon Slayer, Neon Genesis Evangelion (Just got the complete series a while back at a pawn shop)

Which one should I go with next?

Vinland Saga is being airing a new episode every Monday on Netflix.
As for the other three:
Record of Ragnarok: can't comment on this because I haven't watched it yet.
Demon Slayer: only watched the first season and thought it was very mediocre with the fight animations being spectacular.
Neon Genesis Evangelion: regardless of its quality, you NEED to watch this anime along with Akira, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Fullmetal Alchemist (2003) if you haven't seen them yet.

Honestly sounds like the reviewers aren’t even watching the same movie.

Like I’ve seen them go “wow hank and Janet really get to shine in this one with great arcs”

and then other reviews go “wow they really ****ed over hank and Janet”

Or “Kathryn newtown was bad” against “Kathryn Newtown and Majors killed it”

Like how the hell are people this divided? I’m genuinely convinced some of these reviews are trolls, because side by side, not all of them make sense. Especially when they all agree on living Johnathan Majors.

Biggest critique I’ve seen is it doesn’t feel like the end for ant man’s character. Does it really need to be though? Man is going to be in plenty of projects I’m sure leading to secret wars. Nothing stops Ant Man 4 from being a thing either.

Personally movie sounds like it’s mostly being hated to be hated. It went from an 80 to a 50 in two hours. That’s very suspicious, and screams review bombing.

So ultimately it’s going to come down to your own opinion on the movie.

To be fair, the Antman franchise is mid at best and doesn’t make much money at the box office. His 2 previous films are lower stakes, simple, and more personal. They just don’t resonate with the audience that well. I think he’s best served as a sidekick or part of a team like in Civil War 2016 or Endgame 2019.

Antman 3 2023 and Eternals 2021 are the only 2 rotten (according to RT) out of 31 films. That is evidence that the MCU still has a phenomenal record of being liked by both critics and general audiences despite running for 15 years .

If the Main theory about the twist is right, then that’s one of the worst twists of all time.

I’ve always been a fan of this concept and the fact that they took a very cool concept and made it generic zombie survival game number 97 is a bummer. Granted ZombiU, or Zombi on everything else, is a really good game but it could’ve been so much better with this concept. I guess it is cool that they essentially rebooted the old NES Zombi game but wow I just think killing really messed up looking rabbid monsters sounds a lot more intriguing than Zombies.

Edit: also I just like how Montpellier were so sick of making Rabbids games that their first thought was to make a new game where you kill them.

I would be HAPPY if they put in sapient reptiles and birds.

That's a bummer. I'll definitely still see it as I think I like the first two Antman films more than most people, but I'll lower my expectations. I'll be curious to see if it dips and stays below Eternals in the coming weeks. At least Kang is receiving consistent praise; if they messed him up there'd be no hope going forward.

While I can't say I'm fatigued when it comes to the films, there is definitely a slight lapse in quality control overall. Hopefully the rumors of Disney slowing things down, especially the TV shows, will do some good. The TV shows feel like chores for the most part except for Loki and maybe WandaVision IMO. I'd much rather see them continue to become their own films like Armor Wars apparently is.
