Been playing I-Ninja last month. Pretty solid game overall. A couple of annoying challenges. But most of those are relagated to anything needing you to roll on a ball or barrel. I should be able to get most of the grades by the end. But I'll probably be missing a few honestly.

Also beat Devil Within for once. I think I just glitched the last boss, but you know what they say, WE TAKE THOSE.

Paramount is merging Showtime with Paramount+.

Because of that content cuts are happening.

20-9 Twilight Zone, Fairly Oddparents Fairly Odder, Harper House.

All Paramount+ originals that have been purged.

Paramount pulling a WBD here.

Today also marks 5 years since Nintendo made the announcement that the Mario movie is in the works.

And not much longer now.

This is way more than I was expecting! Admittedly, I have no idea who the Authority or the Creature Commandos are, and I haven't read much with Damian Wayne or Swamp Thing, but it's still some exciting announcements. Hopefully this doesn't wind up like a lot of other projects in the DCEU where they don't get past the concept stage or hiring a writer/director before being cancelled. (remember when they were going to do a whole movie based on "The Trench", some minor feral bad guys from Aquaman?)

Interestingly, James Gunn described the Flash as resetting the DCEU, while Aquaman 2 leads into all of this. (also, Amanda Waller will still be played by Viola Davis, and the Supergirl movie is based on Tom King's run while the Batman movie is based on Grant Morrison's run)

I believe that is also the same for the Joker sequel as well.

Anyways I'll give my thoughts. Whilst I do feel it is hard to say much in regards to the reveals, but knowing that James Gunn is a good film maker, I'll wait for further news and see how these films will go in the future.

They can't really go "yeah all these people are being replaced" when they're in movies still releasing this year, that's self sabotage and Flash especially really doesn't need any more of that.
If (big "if" mind) they're getting booted, it'll be a while after their movies are out

I don't know a lot about DC, I'm far more of a Marvel fan (my DC knowledge basically begins and ends with the Teen Titans show) but from the little I know about Booster Gold I adore him. It's just a fun idea that can be taken in a ton of different ways. I really hope the show is good!

Dammit Gunn, why didn't you fire that loon known as Ezra Miller?

Seriously, that guy needs to be put in a mental hospital...

Here's the thing about The Flash.

WB's is losing money fast. Cancelling near completed movies is a good way to waste a big budget (and also burn bridges). They can't do that. They can recast, but that'll also cast time and money and we know WB doesn't wanna spend more. They're cheap like that. Thus Ezra's Flash is (unfortunately and really shouldn't be) staying for now.

As for why DC refuses to recast them in future projects is beyond me. It's kinda more annoying for me given that Ray Fisher got blacklisted for less.

Part of me hopes that, once the Flash movie is released, future movies establish that Barry Allen mysteriously went missing shortly after rewriting/resetting the universe, and Wally West becomes the new Flash as a result. (possibly after being doused with chemicals and struck by lightning, or hit with a bolt of energy generated by Barry's disappearance)

Maybe not in that exact way, because that seems like lazy writing, but then they can cast someone who doesn't seem to be method-acting for the role of Reverse Flash by trying to generate controversy/break laws as quickly as possible, while bringing in a version of the Flash who's extremely popular and yet been relatively ignored in the past decade or so.
