Happy Halloween!

I got an idea for a Halloween drawing last night so I started working on it today. It's gonna be late, but it's not really Halloween-specific so I guess it's okay. It'll feature Rumia from Touhou, Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, and maybe Minecraft Steve just because I want to include him. Miku and Rin are gonna be dressed like Rumia.

It's definitely not easy, but as you upgrade, it gets easier.... kinda.

At first, yes. But the more upgrades you get, the more input commands you get down, the easier the game becomes.

When you get the 2nd half of the game, remember to farm Schmoos in the library.

Which ending for Sonic Ftontiers do you think will end up being canon?

I'm hoping Final Horizon solely to justify keep Sage around more, she's an incredible character concept and having more of her is just fantastic

I've been playing the Castlevania Dominus Collection throughout this month and I think Portrait of Ruin might be my favorite game in the series.

I need to replay Order of Ecclesia to see what I think but Portrait of Ruin was my first MetroidVania of the series and ****ing hell I had a blast replaying it, damn near flawless game

Not in particular but I can imagine Death stealing your **** ends up hurting real bad. I wouldn't know, I accidentally did a speedrun strat to keep the starting equipment which made me tear through everything

Nintendo seems to be using music downloaded on the Internet for their app. I saw theres a Wii Channel section of the app and I was very happy to see they added the music from the Forecast Channel and the News Channel. The problem is that the music doesnt sound right for some of the tracks which...

I'm confused. The claim is that one of the tracks is taken from someone's own rip of the music. This is based on the fact it sounds different to one person's rip of the song and instead sounds the same as a different version of the song, ripped by the same person and put in the same playlist. Wouldn't it just be that there are two versions of the song and the app only has one of them?

Similarly the person making the claim seems convinced that a track from everybody votes is taken from YouTube. They're basing this on a bell sound that begins during the second loop. They claim it's added by the person who made the rip because they title it a medley and supposedly the bell is just a sound effect they chucked in. Others pointed out it just seems to be there because its an additional layer meant to be there as the song progresses.

I wonder if there's a core difference between the two... like Frontiers levels were bad and lacked an identity of their own whilst Shadow Generations has generally great level design and lets them all have their own identities...

They're not ditching linear levels because people hated the bad level design (and outright atrocious control in the 2d levels) in Frontiers but love the great design in ShadGen.

As Schnee already said, there's a world of difference between the two and if nobody's saying it about Sonadow, then it means they actually liked how that was handled. They're not gonna throw out the baby with the bathwater

Late to say it, but Happy Halloween, everyone!

A lot of trick-or-treats visited the neighborhood today, so we passed out most of our candy and plenty of people got to see the house and lawn decorate for the season. We added even more decor this year. Going forward, I think I'm honestly going to start investing in animatronics if I can afford it. I feel like a good animatronic or a few completes a set of Halloween decor, or at least one that matches up with whatever theme you're going for.

Besides that, my family andI also had a really good dinner at home and while we didn't watch any horror movies tonight, we watched several throughout the whole month, so I'm more than content on that front. Oh, and I also managed to beat Pizza Tower's Tricky Treat level 100% tonight. Short level, but challenging and fun enough to be a welcome addition to the game.

I'm ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I'm also already hyped for Halloween 2025.

As much as I am enjoying Shadow Gens, I do wish we had some sort of presence of Whispers, as from what I read of IDW they had a sort of rivalry.

They're already using them for the mobile games and Tangle got flatout mentioned in Frontiers, JP version mentioning her too, so we just need the right setting. If Iizuka gets to that Sonic RPG he wants to do at one point, that'd be a perfect opportunity

First we need to have the IDW comics finally acknowledge Frontiers and start featuring Sage.

Well, there was one made by Bioware. Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. Liked playing that game, though it wasn't well received to many despite new characters made for the story.
