I'm in the theater about to watch Thor. If you told me a month ago I would have waited a week and a half to watch this movie I wouldn't have believed you, but the mediocre reviews scared me off. At least my expectations are tempered, I'm mostly expecting it to be a worse Ragnarok (which I really liked)

I will concur with the Square franchises. Kingdom Hearts 1 soundtrack is great but the sequels blow it out of the watee, Final Fantasy has so many good tracks beyond 7, and Dragon Quest's midis just *ing suck. The orchestrated pieces are phenominal but the midi version is like Fisher Price *.

Yup. Precisely what I'm tryin' to remedy with this, haha.

Just saw Top Gun Maverick

As someone who hasn't seen the original this movie was very enjoyable. It was thrilling and I liked the cast, I still want to punch Tom Cruise in the face but that has nothing to do with the movie.

I loved the post credits scene where Gotti recruited Maverick to join the Scientology initiative.

Compare them to each other and then pick two other franchises to make pointless and baseless comparisons to.

For Sonic, Mario is the tried and true, can't go wrong. Pokemon is also pretty easy, there's a monster catchin' Dragon Quest game coming out, compare ScarVio to it and how they're doing what Nintendon't.

But do NOT actually buy it, that would imply you actually cared about it and weren't just using it to win internet points against Pokeshills and totally own Joe Merrick.

The way I see it, Sonic has a higher probability of being an utter flop while if ScarVio is a letdown at the very least it's still Pokemon.

Therfore buy that new God of War game instead
