Started a very little bit of Kingdom Hearts II.

I guess Square-Enix was a little lazy when porting it to Xbox as on prompts to press the Y button it shows a green triangle (Chain of Memories is also guilty of this).

So the guys behind Pinball FX are making a new Pinball game called Pinball M, for all the things that are too much for FX.

Some of the tables include:

Wrath of the Elder Gods Special Edition: Free table that is uncut from the original

Licensed tables based on Chucky, Dead by Daylight, and Duke Nukem.

One more mystery license.

Meanwhile, regular FX sees the return of the two South Park tables.

Oh spooky season is here?

Gonna watch a few classic Universal Monster movies to celebrate. I started with the Original Dracula, which I enjoyed.

I'm also going to try and watch a few Scooby-Doo movies.

I wish the other games in the Disney afternoon collection got remade the way DuckTales remastered was.

Also why wasn’t the Goof Troop game there? Capcom made it?
I think the reason Ducktales got what it got is pretty obvious. It's the most famous one and was in demand. That and, it's Ducktales. Even over 15 years later, people still love Ducktales.

I’m not questioning why DuckTales got the remake. I just wish the other games got remakes too. Or at the very least DuckTales 2.

I decided to try drawing a spooky thing for each day this month.

1st thing is Herobrine.
IMG_1706.jpeg

I’ve been wanting to draw but felt demotivated/unconfident, thought this might help + it’s fun. Used a ballpoint pen-style brush I found for Krita.

also happy anniversary to Steve in Smash!

It's still wild to me just how elaborate the background for Herobrine as a story/creepypasta is.
Is it really tho? All things considered, it seems pretty basic in terms of creepypasta. "Game creator had dead sibling/kid and they're haunting the game" is a pretty common trope.

Or do you mean like, the story's creation itself?

Same. Ducktales 2 I think is better than original in most aspects, and both Chip/Dale games are solid. Darkwing Duck I really want to like, but it needed more time in the oven and could benefit from a remaster the most IMO. TaleSpin has an interesting gimmick, but is fairly mediocre as far as 8-Bit shumps are concerned.

I'm just surprised we didn't get a new Ducktales game or a remake of Ducktales 2 based on the reboot series.

I mean more like the origins of it, and how fans gradually made it more elaborate and basically integrated it into the game's fandom.

Besides the original post just kinda being about a mysterious, unknown entity haunting someone's version of the game, there are the hoax livestreams that followed it where people tried to make it seem as though the entity, or at least the character, was real and really could be found in the game, or at least in some versions of it. The rest is history.

Honestly, Creepypastas in general have had an interesting history, but aside from a few specific stories they seem to have mostly fallen off in popularity in recent years.

Disregarding Slenderman due to all the actual crimes surrounding him, the Creepypastas that seem to have both the most recognition proportionality the most praise are the Russian Sleep Experiment and NES Godzilla.

Toss in Smiledog, Jeff the Killer and MARIO/Victim 1# in there if only because those 3 have had huge hunts to find the original images associated with them, and 2 of the 3 have been successful soo far. Hell, Jeff's OG image currently has a 10k bounty on it or something like it between SomeOrdinaryGamers and ScareTheatre.

Ever seen VibingLeaf? Great channel. They've been making vids based on old ass Creepypasts but in a "What if they were real" style.

Hopefully we have at least another month until she is unleashed
My Mum was saying to me a few days ago that some stores already have Christmas gifts. Granted, I live in the UK, not the USA. It might be different over there.

One of these days we're actually going to have a game release where only 1 out if 1,000 copies has a ghost easter egg in it, just to screw with people.

And yet another Pokémon crash has been found:

If, during the phase of the final boss fight where you can only use the mascot legendary you hover over slot 4, 5, or 6 in your party, the game crashes.

Anyone attempting the final boss should either:
A. Go into the fight with only 3 Mons
B. Press Up to get to the Legendary

This is after the 2.0.1 patch is installed by the way.

Time to watch the cutscenes of the first Detective Pikachu video game to get me ready for the sequel this Friday.

I'd actually play it but I don't have time for that.

1 day and 3 years (jeez) ago, Steve Rocked The Block.

He would be one of the two Fighter Pass 2 characters that was revealed in early October that uses some kind of sword and starts with S and ends with a vowel and was released in the teens of October.
No.

There's no way its been 3 years. I refuse to accept that.

New Frontiers final boss really has me scratching my head, ngl
Alright, I figured it out.

The spectacle of the fight was pretty rad but the awful camera and screwy lock-on system really detracted from the experience. Better than Ikaruga, but still not great.
