Aaaaand I just got one of those event exclusive forms as a reward for filling the national dex. Original color Magearna.

what if clefairy has an alternate evolution or clefable has one when exposed to a blood moon? Dark fairy maybe?

If you're talking about Detective Pikachu Returns, I'm mainly worried about any confusion regarding how it's not a sequel to the movie, since it was way more popular than the 3DS game in the first place.

Yet over 200 just, got through somehow.

Honestly they were probably just lazy. Why scrub 220 Pokémon out, when you could cut the 20 or so new ones and save time.

It's a shame as i really liked the first game. I thought they'd make some effort of some kind to port a game that released at the end of a console's life cycle.

The Smash amiibo are already a licensing nightmare for first-party titles. WarioWare Gold's amiibo sketch feature couldn't detect every single first-party character (Pokemon, FE characters, Pit, and this is despite having Kid Icarus and Fire Emblem microgames and being compatible with Palutena), and its amiibo entry in its Nintendo museum has to use the Wario amiibo from the Super Mario line instead of the one that features, you know, his WW design.

iirc only two games actually worked with every amiibo up until it's release, and that was Mario Maker and Kirby Robobot.

Even then, the Pokemon amiibo costumes in Mario Maker didn't even have proper sound effects and they never patched them in despite having the Gen 1 starters which did come with proper sfx.
