Tbh, Gen 1 mons as a whole are so basic that they do have a charm to them. This especially applies to the starters, they're all classics.

Imo, the weakest one of that bunch is Venusaur but Bulba and Ivy more than make up for that.

Gem 3 is when they started going crazy with the starters

Tbf, Charizard is still pretty damn popular. I heard this comparision on Twitter, which goes like Charizard is the Shadow of Pokemon, in that they are both extremely popular, so popular to the point where people had enough of them. But it's not the companies fault that they still keep topping popularity charts and stuff

Yeah I'm mostly just sick of GameFreak putting them everywhere. I would probably grow to like Charizard more if they calm down with the pandering

1. I want another meltdown like Incineroar's reveal because I hate Pokemon fans
2. It would be funny
3. I hate Pokemon fans so they deserve to suffer
