I got a good amount of work done on projects I needed to with my time off this week that I can afford to chill on ‘em for a bit. Work’s gonna be busy for the next two weeks anyways, so I might as well use that as an excuse to take a break and just work on some hobby stuff when I get the time for it.

I'm pretty sure it's because they don't understand Japanese historical classifications.

It seems more like the Meiji Restoration era (from my limited knowledge on Japanese history, anyway) though it does have some elements of Feudal Japan such as Samurai esque outfits despite the Samurai being abolished shortly after the Meiji Restoration began

Like, Boom had 1 **** game and 2 that were very forgettable, a shortlived comic and a beloved cartoon which for some reason is fondly remembered. 06 caused immense damage to public perception of Sonic which to this day has still been affecting it, 06 is why we never got any new attempts at an Adventure game because who in their right mind would risk a game that looks somewhat similar in gameplay? 06 is what started the trend of "Hurrr durrrr Sonic's ****ty friends nobody cares about" which is why the only playable character in mainline Sonic games sinces has been Sonic with the exception of Forces. 06 is why Sega kept pushing "Oh, do you remember the classic Genesis games?" Because they desperately wanted to forget 06 by pandering to that era of nostalgia and nothing else. 06 is what made Sonic such a massive laughing stock in the face of the general public because imagine liking something that had such a disaster for it's massively hyped up anniversary title? ****, we've had Forces and Frontiers get hyped up with "This won't be like 06 you guys see we delayed it for quality control!"

I've been on a waiting list for a year and a half. Northern Ireland has terrible waiting lists for mental health............and it won't be until April for it to be resolved.

Oh no, I was talking about as a game by itself: Wii U Boom was worse. As something towards the franchise as a whole?

06 is what ushered in the era of people getting their Sonic opinions from the Game Grumps and similar outlets, so yeah, no, in that respect, 06 was definitely the worst thing that ever happened to the franchises' overall standing and health in the gaming scene.

I encourage any of y'all who like Sonic to take a look here at Jirad's 06 video, this is by far the best video on the game I've seen, as it's an honest to goodness fair take on the game without being held down by the classic tropes these videos usually have (he actually pokes fun at those in the beginning lol). He also talks about what he felt were mistakes he regretted about his original 06 video and even talks about Project 06, it's a really good watch.

Alignment: Light-Law

Origin: Greek mythology. A naiad or a freshwater nymph who was the daughter of the river god Peneus and the nymph Creusa. She became the unwilling object of the infatuation of Apollo after Eros cursed him. Despite the wishes of both of them, Apollo chased Daphne who prayed to her father for help right before the sun god caught up to her. Her father turned her into a laurel tree which caused Apollo to held a reverence for the plant.

Daphne’s story is a popular one and therefore the details can change wildly between variations. Ovid’s version is my favorite and also seems to be the one ATLUS uses the most. Her design is simple and mostly hints at her transformation with the contrast between her pale skin and the tree bark portions on her body. Her smug expression is also a pretty positive interpretation of her tale, implying that she’s comfortable in her new form.

Meet Wilbert Roget, game composer. Born in Philly, Rogey has had a life surrkunded by music. At the age of 4, he taught himself how to play the piano. Inspired by soundtracka such as Final Fantasy's and various animes, Roget woukd attend Yale University and then land his first composing gig at LucasArts in 2008.

Roget wiukd score several SW games such as The Old Republic and First Round. He would later keave Lucasarts and become a freelancer, and score for games like Mortal Kombat 11, COD:WWII, Destiny 2, Lara Croft: Temple of Orsis, Soul Calibur 5, in fact, a lot of high profile games, both AAA and Indie.

Aside from that, Roget is a member of the Game Audio Guild, and also co-founded Imoact Soundworks, a music company for games and other media. He currently resides in Seattle.

Also the Meiji era happened at the same time as the victorian era in the UK, which the professor and Cogita's outfits look like they belong in.

If i had a nickel for everytime a series i liked went downhill and then on the Switch had a game set during the Meiji era which ended up revitalizing my interest in the brand i would have two nickels.
