Really hoping we are able to get some new Shin Megami Tensei V DLC. Aside from that, Mario Kart 9 at the next direct would be AWESOME. I need to play as King Bob-Omb in a good Mario Kart game.

A new Wario Land game would be great. It would be nice if we got the title for Breath of the Wild's sequel, at least.

For non-Nintendo games, it seems really weird that we've gotten or are getting direct sequels to Persona 3, 4 (Persona 4 Arena), and 5 (Persona 5 Strikers) on the Switch without actually having the original games, so Persona 4 Golden or some version of Persona 5 seem like they would make a lot of sense. (it would be good to have some version of Persona 3 as well, but I'm not sure what the best version would be - I know there's one that makes it so you can actually control your partners rather than having the AI do it, so maybe that one but with a face lift?)

I wouldn't say no to collections for Metal Gear Solid games or the early Tekken titles (even if they're released individually, it would be nice to be able to play Tekken 3 and see what all of the hubbub is about), or a Marvel vs. Capcom collection, though I feel like they'd be announced at more general gaming events.

They'll likely announce that in a Pokémon Presents (should be around February 27) rather than a Nintendo Direct.

Seriously, like- I love SMO so much and yet I feel like it so tragically underexplores its own mechanics. Absolutely nothing needs to be done with said core mechanics to make a baller sequel - we just need insane kingdoms that make full use of them, no longer held back by needing to ease the player in, as it's a sequel.
