No. writing that needs a reset button to get out of cheap drama is not good writing. And Infinity war was a good ending given I do not care about the MCU moving forward. I did not watch the newest spider man, I skipped captain marvel and the MCU is basically over for me as a franchise. The fact that they needed time traveling to fix the problem the writers created was more then enough reason to stop watching.
I feel like this take is going to anger so many die hard fanboys.

Something tells me must despise the Cell Saga In Dragon Ball.
Dragon ball had the concept of resurrection built in at the beginning with the dragon balls. The Buu saga is what I have issue with. The mellow drama of Vegeta blowing up and people crying.. like really. dragon balls. And then Goku...well being Goku. Series should have ended at cell. Now for the time travel part. They did a multi verse theory type of thing and it was ok. but it mostly fell by the wayside. Yes. Trunks time traveled. but it was such a small note in the overall saga, it was forgettable half the time. Also did not really fell like we were overwriting anything given its presentation. But we did get to see the future timeline. we did see Trunks timeline and it still existed after the shenanigans.
There are so many moving parts to that saga that i still dont fully understand what's going on. And i love Dragon ball.
I love DB, but let's not act like the Cell Saga was the pinnacle of making sense.

Which is why they should just make games for the Xbox. Heck. Make it mutual. Xbox puts a bunch of their titles (360 and older, MAYBE some EARLY gen 8 stuff) for the portability and to sell to another market, and Nintendo starts making Super HD ports of some of their better games like Odyssey and Smash for the graphically inclined. In both cases, not everything. Just a few of the stand out ones.
Unique gaming? You mean motion controls and game pads? Like... almost nobody likes Joy-Con motion controls. Except for like in Mario Party. Like, when we used to play Mario Kart Wii, my parents insisted on using motion controls and the wheel. On to Mario kart 8 Deluxe and after the first few races they were asking to turn them off. The portability is nice, and I love it. But I can’t deny that because of the hardware I still prefer only playing sprite based games on the thing. I actually think Smash Ultimate looks king of ugly. I mean, look at DK. Flat drawn on fur and very obviously segmented limbs. Like a PS1 game but with too much depth to be charming.
You don’t have to be hyper realistic to look nice. Some games on switch actually look really good. But especially with Smash, it just looks bad. Especially the few times you zoom in like in victory screens and you can physically see the seams. It’s not even about being in 4K or whatever. I just hate the polygonal look. Just like... fix the models. Make em look better when you zoom in
The time stone was basically considered a god item in the series. It allowed for time travel, but the instances we had seen were mainly reversing specific instances. Not full blown going into the past and erasing major plot points to fix bad writing. It was also supposed to be the only thing that could deal with the flow of time.

most of them wanted it to stay as Manyula, it's japanese name. There was also "Snevil", which is... much worse than Weavile.

Hilariously, Pulsemon was introduced with an Ultimate/Perfect that looks like a Pokemon.
Kind of weird since the pun in both languages is about the same (weasel + evil/vile/demon or other synonym). I feel that may be a case of fans getting used to the Japanese name and just not liking it changing as a result.
That tended to happen a lot. Especially back when Corocoro leaks were a thing.
I liked the idea of time travel in theory. But once it became just about getting the stones and not.. ya know... undoing thanos’s actions, I began to dislike it.

The villans in boths Dragon Ball time travel arcs were cool imo, i like Goku Black and his SSR form.
...The Cell Saga is fun, but a real mess. Though at least it does go with the "different futures" bit instead of trying to make it a pure happy ending. Since that's a major theory on how trying to manipulate time works. Frankly, Dragon Ball Super made it a lot more weird during its own future arc. Cell Saga, imo, handled it a lot better. And it was strange in the first place.
That said, Perfect Cell is still my favorite DBZ character. About a week ago, I picked up a set of drink glasses with him and Vegeta, via their POP! designs. Maybe I can find Frieza's someday for my complete list of my favorites. He's probably grouped with Goku though.
I more meant how the arc itself went. Felt unnecessarily dark. Cell Saga was a lot lighter, but it also had characters who were willing to turn good and a far less confusing set of villains. The entire backstory for Goku Black was strange.
