They have put personnel stock in the game being good and see it failing as themselves failing. Rather sad i say.

Man I can't stop thinking about Smash Bros when I play Hollow Knight. There's just so many similarities in how it plays as an action/platformer with its directional inputs on certain moves and its focus on spacing and reactions.

Too bad the Knight won't ever be getting in Smash, their moveset designs itself. Its very easy to imagine them playing as a lightweight all-arounder with a soul meter attached and spells for their specials.

Hard agree. I don't really give a damn if a game is 4k 160 fps RTX with all of this fancy stuff, if anything, I prefer it when games take a more interesting approach and don't just hop on the max graphics bandwagon.

One of the reasons I love Nintendo games is simply because, out of pretty much every other big company, there games have this very vibrant feel and when compared to the generic hyper-realistic games of every era, makes them stand out a lot.

No. writing that needs a reset button to get out of cheap drama is not good writing. And Infinity war was a good ending given I do not care about the MCU moving forward. I did not watch the newest spider man, I skipped captain marvel and the MCU is basically over for me as a franchise. The fact that they needed time traveling to fix the problem the writers created was more then enough reason to stop watching.

Infinity Gauntlet did the same thing but faster...after killing all the heroes...normal comic book writing

Dragon ball had the concept of resurrection built in at the beginning with the dragon balls. The Buu saga is what I have issue with. The mellow drama of Vegeta blowing up and people crying.. like really. dragon balls. And then Goku...well being Goku. Series should have ended at cell. Now for the time travel part. They did a multi verse theory type of thing and it was ok. but it mostly fell by the wayside. Yes. Trunks time traveled. but it was such a small note in the overall saga, it was forgettable half the time. Also did not really fell like we were overwriting anything given its presentation. But we did get to see the future timeline. we did see Trunks timeline and it still existed after the shenanigans.

In the MCU. No concept of resurrection or time travel all the way up til the end. And then once they could time travel. Oh no. We only can make specific jumps due to resources. but you now can time travel. Go get the guy and make more. Why send people to times that can be compromised. etc.
So. not a fan. But if we want to really get into it, I hated most of the second half of naruto because they brought in ressurection. Lets kill someone to bring him back a few books later. we get the shock and dont have to commit.

More importantly...this is a Marvel movie based on a storyline that did the exact same thing, only quicker and had Nebula end up being the main villain to **** over Simp Thanos. Now as for you not liking MCU movies...that is completely on you and not the entire franchise story arc(soon to be an s at the end) itself

Which is why they should just make games for the Xbox. Heck. Make it mutual. Xbox puts a bunch of their titles (360 and older, MAYBE some EARLY gen 8 stuff) for the portability and to sell to another market, and Nintendo starts making Super HD ports of some of their better games like Odyssey and Smash for the graphically inclined. In both cases, not everything. Just a few of the stand out ones.

Unique gaming? You mean motion controls and game pads? Like... almost nobody likes Joy-Con motion controls. Except for like in Mario Party. Like, when we used to play Mario Kart Wii, my parents insisted on using motion controls and the wheel. On to Mario kart 8 Deluxe and after the first few races they were asking to turn them off. The portability is nice, and I love it. But I can’t deny that because of the hardware I still prefer only playing sprite based games on the thing. I actually think Smash Ultimate looks king of ugly. I mean, look at DK. Flat drawn on fur and very obviously segmented limbs. Like a PS1 game but with too much depth to be charming.

And as for that stuff about the MCU..... ooooooh boy do I just not agree.

That is still a bad idea. There are still a lot of people who uses the Joy Cons and other ways of motion controls. You also forgot about their 3D device, the hybrid console we currently have...something that Xbox would not be able to handle without a lot of ****ing issues

as for MCU we ain't gonna agree cause there is the popular and unpopular opinion for the public

I mean mostly Lyric, there are a few good tracks in the DS games.

Sonic Forces soundtrack I’ll admit is on the weaker side, though I blame that mostly on the instrumentation of some of the tracks, I’ve heard other artists remix some of those tracks and they sound much better as a result. Still there’s a good amount of tracks from that game I’d listen to as they were originally.

Just because it was in the comic book proper does not make it a good idea or well executed. Thanos in the comic was trying to impress his girlfriend death. Such a great motivation. I am going to kill everyone to make this chick notice me. Nah. And we know the movie was a two parter originally. but it still does not change the fact that it was written for cheap deaths and to shock people. Oh no spider man was killed this sucks. of wait. never mind. he is back. false alarm. Given Dr. Strange, it was the time stone, the one of 6 super rocks that were specifically stated to grant unnatural powers. I would expect it to do that, but if they decided. "Man eveything bad that happened to me. lets rewrite it with time travel.", it does not give a movie tension or stakes. It makes it dull.

Again, being from the comic does not automatically make it great writing. Lest we look to the gun carrying santa superman for inspiration.

I still stand that it was poorly written to give false weight to the stakes at hand. Movie would have been much better without the time travel and honestly would have been better if everyone snap stayed dead. Means they would have had gumption on what they were actually writing. As is, it is just a comicbook movie. and not a very good one.

Yeah, it's amazing. Tee Lopes did a phenomenal job with the remixes and his compositions for the brand new zones are among my favorites in the whole game.

Also, am I alone in preferring the first act music of Press Garden over the second?

But when done right, they are good ideas. Kinect was a great idea. Just not a substitute for a standard controller. I think the motion controls are fun, the dancing games are enjoyable, the kinect games are engaging. but motion controls need to be implemented where they belong. Not menus. No haphazard.

Shadow’s OST wasn’t that bad. I wouldn’t say it’s top ten best Sonic soundtracks material but there’s a lot of good (if a bit needlessly edgy) tracks in that game.
