I'm glad I didn't keep doing searches yesterday then.

Also, to note, they did report the situation on the forum, so the Administration should be aware now.

This is a really good fan made trailer
I'd like to point out something in this video. Just as a funny lil' "outtake" of sorts, not as a "see? this video SUCKS!!!!!" kinda thing cause this is ridic. well made, but it's something that could have potentially been used as a hit against it had it continued to be passed around as an actual leak.

Let's take a closer look at the part where all the sprites show up - now let's look at Simon's sprite.

Now here's Simon's actual original sprite:

And now here's the sprite for Trevor from Castlevania 3:

The sprite they used for the trailer is actually Trevor's sprite, not Simon's. They pulled out the wrong character's sprite to represent Simon.

Now, again, I'm not trying to discredit the work put into this cause holy ****, that's one of the best pieces of fan-made Smash content I've seen in the entire Ultimate hype cycle, I just want to point this out because if this had been specifically made to pose as a trailer leak and shared around the 'net as one like it almost was before people figured out the origin, this could have been used against it.

On the topic of Mario characters, I feel one cool character they could add with loads of ideas for the moveset would be Pauline.

Too many people only see her as the damsel in distress from the DK arcade and nothing else, but taking a look at the NDS library would leave you with a series of Mario spin-offs where her strongest moveset potential could shine:
61ARZWT3CHL._SX342_.jpg

The Mario vs Donkey Kong series is filled with so many variations of the minis based on different characters, that some could even be applied the exact way as in the games to Pauline's moveset (Mini Donkey Kong for example being an easy idea for an Up-b or Mini Mario with the Hammer a neutral b).

All of that alongside the possible use of her items from the DK arcade such as the bag or the hat (the latter working similar to Cappy) being put to play as Smash attacks.

I more meant how the arc itself went. Felt unnecessarily dark. Cell Saga was a lot lighter, but it also had characters who were willing to turn good and a far less confusing set of villains. The entire backstory for Goku Black was strange.

He's a cool villain, though.
Super Saiyan Rose is such an appealing character design to me because of the colors.
Black and pink complement each other extremely well, plus he has an energy schythe, that's badass.

Yeah. I just dislike the arc, but not the characters. I don't even remember a DB character I disliked. I even liked GT in general. Though to be fair, the return of Perfect Cell helped.

Speed Weed Speed Weed don't you think Frank West's theme in MvC3 sounds like something Nagamuma would compose for a Jet Set Radio game:

It would be a Mario inclusion I would really love besides Pauline and maybe Waluigi.
It's almost there, but sounds a bit off. It's got the base components of a Naganuma composition, but the way said components are actually used doesn't sound quite right

I think I fell for another unavailable girl.

Sometimes I wish I didn't find people attractive.

Really, really trying to complete Trails of Cold Steel IV before Cyberpunk now. I'm on the clock and fighting through pain. The game's finale is too long! Great, but too long!

However I also want to blow stuff up in Just Cause 4 so I keep switching.

Honestly I can Pauline being a bit of a surprise pick. Kinda amazed she wasn't even as an Assist Trophy.

Although personally I would love a Baby Mario and Baby Luigi duo like the Ice Climbers.

As for my personal "weird Mario pick", there's a part of me that kinda wants to see ****ing Gooper Blooper. I dunno, I just think it'd be funny to see a non-anthro squid run around and beat people up. It helps that he's one of my favorite Mario boss designs.

Thank you both for replying.

May not seem like It but It does mean something for me after the days I've been having.

In regards to both comments, I could see Baby Mario and Luigi in the style Irepan mentions working similar to their counterparts from Partners In Time, with them using items and moves from said Game and all.

And I do agree that there could still be fun potential on Mario enemies for Smash movesets. Gooper Blooper would be quite fun, and recently the Smash Remix team got really creative by adding the Mad Piano from Mario 64 as a playable character in their project.

Odyssey definitely gave her more charm and personality.

If we had to get a Mario character, I would choose Waluigi, but Pauline could be made very interesting.

Waluigi is another character who I would find neat to see in Smash, since I really want to see the Wario and Waluigi duo filled in the roster.

Aw hell yeah. I've been wanting those two for years.

Plus and just saying, Partners in Time is one of the best Mario games ever. It was entertaining throughout, funny but a bit dark, great gameplay, has one of the best soundtracks from the franchise and is challenging. Gives the 23 year old me a bit of the run for my money the same way it did to the 9 year old me.

Plus it holds a place of importance to me with being on the cover of the Nintendo Official Magazine UK before they switched. Way back in the ancient year of 2006 and just as I was really getting into video games.

Partners In Time was the first Mario RPG I ever played, and I do hold a lot of nostalgia value for It.

I remember that I did get stuck at the part where Mario & Luigi got sucked by some vacuum and you had to fight two Hammer Brothers just as Baby Mario and Luigi, a Battle which I never could Pass as I didn't know how to harm them.

I should get back to the Game any of these days, and see if I can finally get through that part.
