Metroid Dread fellas, I call upon your assistance once again.

How the hell do you get that Energy Tank/Part locked behind the speed booster blocks in the EMMI Zone? I've tried everything but I have no clue how you would keep that momentum falling down. I am so lost.

I will also note that I was never good at Shinesparks

I could've sworn I typed in Dairon, but don't worry Gwen, I've used my epic gamer skills to figure out how shinesparks work by mashing every button and stick simultaneously. :slime: It took me multiple attempts but I think I figured it out. I got it btw

If it's in the EMMI zone where you get the Speed Booster, you build up speed on the bottom path and shinespark upwards.

Unless there's another energy tank in that area I'm missing.

Edit: NVM, I see you got it.

Apparantly, spoiling myself Dread & playing 5 Metroid games in a row didn't gave me a good sense of direction.

That and I died to the undamaged EMMI, was too greedy.

The control also feel weird coming after Super, but i'm startin' to understand how they work.

Despite those small problems, my first session was a blast.

I really need to stop and use my head before I start asking silly questions, I was really about to ask where the hell to go from where I just left off. But now I got the grapple beam. Honestly, the controls for them feel weird, I'm not used to holding three different buttons simultaneously to do things in. It's like the Omega Beam, I died so many attempts because my smol brain couldn't wrap my head around the controls and the timing.

I saw No Time to Die last night. It was a good movie, arguably up there with Casino Royale or Skyfall for Daniel Craig's James Bond movies, though it definitely helps if you've watched Spectre beforehand. I found it a little funny that they borrowed a plot point almost directly from Metal Gear Solid by introducing what's basically FOXDIE, given how much James Bond influenced that franchise. I wasn't even aware that the movie was being shown in 3D (the timing for the 3D showing worked out better for me), though the 3D didn't add anything.

Well if you must know I beat the game on Saturday with a time of 10:50 and yesterday I 100% with 13:30. Currently working on another run trying to get a better completion time.

Honestly that is was a great idea from the mods. Not saying **** about the ones over in the speculation thread but I think things could have kicked off had that happened.

Also a few already have more or less left or reduced the presence here. Noticed JD and Baku have.

..So the power in my area just cut off out of nowhere.

It's back now, but it scared the **** out of me & my mother. (My sister didn't even notice lol)

I'm talking for the next 10 days before it completely shuts down. Once that's over I expect most of the activity will be here in the social thread until the next game comes out
