You gotta do the EMMI skip by clipping out of bounds. Be careful though, you can get instakilled if you aren't precise.

I remember seeing it on the shelf at Toys R Us and telling my mom I really wanted it, but because it was rated T for Teen (and I was like 6) she wouldn't get it for me.

BUT THEN.

THIS RANDOM KID COMES OUT OF NOWHERE TO VOUCH FOR THE GAME and it did nothing. My mom didn't get me the game. I wouldn't play Smash Bros. until Brawl, when all of my friends had it and my mom figured out that cartoon violence wouldn't turn me into a serial killer.

That was actually my first exposure to Smash, funnily enough. For someone with a terrible memory, I find it interesting that that memory specifically sticks out in my mind.

Why is 2P a thing for the Spirit Board but not WoL? Why doesn’t WoL have a Very Hard Mode?

There's just a lot of things debug tools can do that normal players can't, period. It's not just making Galeem/Dharkon puppets.

Because you can't make the game very hard for yourself just by not equipping any Spirits.
