Holy ****, Dread is addicting.

Though I be playing it for a bit, but ended up doing alot today.

How the **** do you beat the purple EMMI?

Basically, you need to escape it until there's little to no place to run.

While it might look like a trap, if you're accurate enough & far enough from it, you have just enough room to destroy it's plate & then it's face.

I have the ability to Shinespark now, but I have no idea if there's an extra upgrade that goes with it later, 'cause some speedboost blocks seem impossible to break atm.

Is there some tech I don't know, or is there an upgrade for speedbooster later?

Make sure they're facing the direction you're coming from, or Shinespark underneath if it's above you.

Alternatively do what I did and just reread the controls on how to do it a million times before I got it.

I'm going to guess you're confusing some blocks with the Power Bomb one. Which are orange & have a circle in them instead of the shinespark block that have a arrow and are more yellow-ish.

If i'm right, just wait til you get the power bomb.

Everybody's hyping up Metroid today, meanwhile I'm just brainstorming how many different kinds of Firefights I'll be making in ODST (even with the Flood & Elites being delayed, I'm just happy to get wave customization (Plus, sentinels weren't delayed, so there's still something new to fight)).

I got to the point in Metroid where You release the X Parasites. Or, I guess Raven Beak did, but clearly you're the one who had them escape sealed containment, so I think ADAM's capping hard lmao. The cutscene with Samus and the Chozo was very touching, and I wasn't expecting an X possessing his corpse to revive the EMMIs. It's pretty sad.

There's no upgrade to it, but there are a couple tricks to it that you need to learn to get some of the upgrades. One in particular that come to mind is that you can Shinespark in Morph Ball, which is usually one of the trickier puzzles to get since you have to be more precise.

Then i'm not sure then. Can't remember other Metroid games have speed block that block if you face the wrong way. It should work wherever you go normally, but i'm not sure.

Nah, don't worry about it, I appreciate the responses!

My guess is that I'm supposed to come at them from another room that's not on the map. Metroid games do typically hide certain rooms even if you've gone to a map station, so there's probably a room I'm missing.

Just hasn't been clicking with me the past month and too busy to. Like damn I was clicking well with my rewrite of Laiku and Sakura's story for a few days then just dropped mentally. Made it more and darker of a tone. However cause of paranoia can't say more than that.

Also have my first person Violet Evergarden inspired story about a girl who sets off a chain reaction of events across centuries.
Going from writing a violent story to the first world war in a paradisal world.

I've ideas but no motivation.

My box office film performances and other thoughts:

With Shang-Chi & the Legend of the Ten Rings entering towards its final week within its 45-day theatrical run, the film has already made over $400 million worldwide which considerably a box office success considering that this was all through the pandemic.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage had started off with a strong domestic opening with $90 million, the only question is whether the film starring Tom Hardy can maintain its legs throughout its run considering that it does have some competition amongst James Bond: No Time To Die and Warner Bros' Dune.

November will be as Marvel Studios' next feature "The Eternals" and Walt Disney Animation's "Encanto" will be releasing next month. Like Shang-Chi, "The Eternals" will have a 45-day theatrical run whilst "Encanto" will have a 30-day run and will be available on Disney+ before Christmas. Also releasing in November are "Ghostbusters: Afterlife", "Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City" and "The House of Gucci."

Where's a good spot to kill Blue with the Omega Blaster? I can't seem to find a flat surface with enough length for me to shoot at it for as long as I have to for how fast it crawls up on you. I was thinking about using the ceiling but I honestly don't know if it works like that.

There’s an area nearby with a spider point on the ceiling that’ll take you to the left. That’s the optimal spot.

Wow, that final confrontation with Raven Beak was fantastic. Such a challenging fight and the cinematography in the cutscenes was badass.

Also it was cool as **** to see Samus go full Metroid and start draining fools, although I'm still a little confused about how Quiet Robe X just took it away from her. Is it gone completely or did he just help her control it?
