Managed to get our hands on the new Xbox. We also went and got the game pass, so time to play the Ori games. And looking at what the game pass contains, I'm surprised by the selection. Doom Eternal, Kingdom Hearts 3, and We Happy Few all readily available like that is wild. It also has Untitled Goose Game, which I've been meaning to play for a while.

I've backed Fraymakers, making this the first Kickstarter project that I've actually put money towards. (and the second crowdfunding project overall - as soon as they announced that Psychonauts 2 was being crowdfunded, I threw as much money at it as I felt like spending) While I doubt that I'll be able to get the full experience when it comes to character/stage creation, it basically looks like it could become the Smash Bros. equivalent of MUGEN. (in terms of being able to completely customize characters and stages)

Even though I'm sure a lot of people are going to use it to create overpowered monstrosities rather than balanced characters, I'm interested to see where it goes, and I'd like to try the coding side of it, at least. (my spriting skills are lacking)

I'm going to play some Skyrim; I'm just starting the game out, and I already made a mistake with filling in my character's name (I accidentally cancelled out of the naming menu instead of hitting the button to delete the text), but I'll stick with it and see how this goes. While I could go exploring, I think I'll stick with the path that the game is suggesting for now.

Things are only getting bad to worse for Capcom as you may know that they fell victim to the ransomware attack as more stuff had been leaked out.

Stuff on Resident Evil Village and some of the content of the final Street Fighter V: Champion Edition with models of Dan and Rose's alts, a model for Akira Kazama and her brother Daigo (who I don't believe he is the final character of the pass and could work as a tag mechanic similar to Nadeshiko) and her Rival Schools stage.

Anyways, I still think that if they do a Power Stone remake, it will certainly fit very well with the Nintendo Switch platform and for Final Fight, they could look at SEGA's Yakuza franchise as an inspiration.

Even though I wasn't able to purchase a Playstation 5 on day one, I've seen several scalpers on eBay putting the console up for almost double or triple the price amount which is ridiculous.

In addition, I found their reasoning for their actions beyond baffling and ridiculous:

“Lots of our community have been furloughed, made redundant, or at some form of disadvantage due the pandemic,” it said.

“These people have managed to cover their bills, put food on the table and supply Christmas presents to their children.

“It may be unfortunate that a child wont wake up to a PS5 this Christmas, but another child may have woken up to nothing. We have no regrets.⁠”

That doesn't really give them an excuse to justify their actions.

Not what I'd do but just like the last one, you got a lotta cool ideas i wouldn't have ever thought of

Speaking of which, I should probably give mine a redo too. Organize the picks a bit more, make it a lil bigger, elaborate a bit more on the other content in the game and actually touch on the DLC which is something I didn't do at all in my previous draft

You ever wonder why the big companies just don't slap a big, fat "Not for Resale" sticker on the side of the box, and go after the scalpers with no intention of a refund?
Makes no sense to me at all.
