We may not necessarily get a Season 2 for PSG though.

I'm excited and worried at the same time if this means we'll see a new anime project for it.

Gurren Lagann is my favorite anime of all time and I thought the ending wrapped things up beautifully, so I'm not quite sure how I'd feel about a continuation, but at least it's nice to see the rights in Trigger's hands now.

British TV in the 90's use to have a lot of awesome gameshows which include Roy Walker's version of Catchphrase, Bruce Forsythe's Generation Game and the Gladiators. In addition, the children's tv shows were also at its best back then and what we got now does not match with what I watched back then.



Too true. Those kind of shows had been on the UK TV screens for many years and I believe it was Pop Idol which started all of the reality tv show trends which for me it gets really tiresome after a few series.

And you have forgotten the likes of The Crystal Maze, Robot Wars, Scrapheap Challenge, It's a Knockout etc. And to be fair but kids shows died with Tracy Beaker.

Also you forgot the horrendous abominations known as soap operas like Eastenders and Coronation Street. I swear if all those were banned the intelligence of the 20-40 low chav parents group here in the UK (and Ireland) would go up by 10% at least.
I mean all those plots is the same through and through.

I've never played Monster Hunter but I'm now very tempted to get the game after playing the demo. A bit too slow at times for my liking but I'm enjoying.

MTG club is starting up this week....

I'm not sure if I should bring my Tergrid deck, considering that the entire gameplan is stealing my opponent's stuff(which is a big no no right now with Covid) but i'll try anyway. Maybe should bring some disposable gloves and another deck just in case.

Ah yes, I used to watch Crystal Maze a lot (the one with Richard O'Brien) and I was always fascinated by the puzzles. Robot Wars is another classic show which I started watching since the second series back when it aired on the BBC. Its a real shame that the reboot lasted for three seasons which is why I turn to Battlebots in which several of the Robot Wars competitors competed. John Reid (Terrorhurtz) teamed up with Gabriel Stroud (Sabretooth) for this seasons Battlebots which surprisingly got knocked out during the round of 32 by Ribbot.

For me, kids shows pretty much died when they introduced their own dedicated CBBC Channel etc which meant it no longer takes the afternoon slots on the mainstream channels.

To be honest, I'm not exactly much of a fan of British soap opera shows and I don't usually watch them despite the fact that the likes of Eastenders and Coronation Street going on for many years.

Doctor Who is another exception though I've heard recently it hasn't been as great.

It was never my thing but I did like David Tennant on his acting as the Doc from what I saw compared to the others.

10/Tennant is considered to be the best doctor by many for a reason, and one of them is his brilliant acting.

I like a lot of the modern doctors as well, but Whittaker's era really dampened the storytelling. Season 11 was forgettable, and while season 12 was pretty good to start out, the finale is so awful and twists the main character all kinds of sideways that it leaves many of the fans scratching their head, such as myself.

If you were to try out one season, season 1 or season 4 of the modern series you'd probably like, at least for the most part. But if it's not your thing, that's fine. It's certainly not for everyone since it's a quirky sci-fi show.

I only use it to occasionally check news feeds, cause unfortunately most game devs(both card games and generally) like to post updates to twitter first, and sometimes only on twitter.
