I do the best i can, but only martime tournies that i host out this way. Id travel but im only 15 Dx. This really pisses me off, we definitly deserve a higher rank.

as i said. you couldnt be fighting good ones if your WOOPING them. A good ness will kick ***.

Hive and noob are in clali. im in tx. chaos did one event. you have done one event.

when i said rep i meant like we ALL go out consistantly and place decent(im not asking for top 4....even though it would be nice).

and when it comes to national tournies for brawl. ive only been to 1....my tournament, HOBO 11. if you count WCSL, then ive been to 2. and if u count SiN, then it will be three.
I've been to a ton of tournaments placing well at most. Taking a long break doesn't remove those, unless you're not counting early tournaments. My best placings are 1st, 4th, 8th(pax, 255 man tournament dunno if people count that though) in singles, although the 1st place was a ridiculously small turnout (like 10 people) so we just did pools and have the top two from the pool have a best of 5.

Basically after I took a long break and came back everyone was better, so I rarely broke top ten in a 30-40ish man bracket. Now I basically haven't been to a brawl tournament in like 4 months O_o Got busy with work, but I'll probably start hitting the brawl tournaments again as long as they fit the schedule.

edit:

this post was not meantto boast, but when you say I only did one event that's very inaccurate lol.

This is true. Even though I brawled with Earthbound360 online, his Ness ***** hard. Real hard. And so does Simna's and ViceGrips. I beat Simna once but that was it. I've beaten ViceGrip several times, but he has beaten me more than I have beaten him. These were online, but yeah. Samus' f-air cannot even beat Ness' f-air, unless you manage to use f-air first. Ness also has better kill moves.

lol yea Ness is hard :p You'd think in a situation where you are fighting a kid with missiles and armor you'd be able to, you know, blow him up or SOMETHING...
nope T.T kid with yoyo>missile launcher

edit:I think she might be able to pass up lucas though in the future and maybe ike.....
but then again I think Pokemon trainer, sonic, and jigglypuff might pass samus up as well... :p (I haven't actually seen to many jiggs mains, but I hear that she can be very good, and has improved a lot recently) Pokemon Trainer and Sonic though I think I very underrated right now :p

I get practice against Ness, though. And I've brawled with a number of Ness players.

Don't forget that that kid has PSI abilities, so he's not your average boy.

Apparently. We do not really care if shes bad or not.

Your point itself, or you even really being here, is irrelevant.

Be a little more positive?

don't get too excited samus mains she's still not a very good character lol
awww someone's just mad because samus is way more badass than bowser. ^^
Samus:

1. Has A Missile Launcher♥
2. Has A lazer whip ♥ (submit!)
3. Has bombs
4. Can do darth vader impressions
5. Is the only character that can have a sex life with R.O.B.
6. And is more handy in case of zombie infestations.

Bowser:

1. Has moves that look like he's humping people
2. is a turtle with a mohawk :p <.<
3. His run, need I say more. ^^

I think I've proved my point lol ;)

(just messing with you gimpy ^^, bowser is pretty badass...)

I can easily admit that Samus isn't a very good character. Wanna know why? Because I can name at least 90% of anyone who visits the Samus boards. I can't do that for any of the top tier character boards (except for Wario, because they're really inactive) because of all the people they have.

I'm sure Samus will rise in rank, there is enough proof from this board that most are not using her to full potential. Plus, how many times were we told Samus was a bad character in the early days of Melee? I'm not saying she will end up as high as she did in Melee but I'm sure our low rank is due to not enough playing her well at tournies. Xyro77 is right, we need more good rep.

I'll be adding my cents as soon as I get a car... >.>

If Samus place higher than Zero Suit Samus, or Zamus for short, I'll be happy. I think if more people find more techs for Samus, she could get the middle tier spot back.

I agree, with almost all of what you said. I do believe she will rise in rank. However the problem is not that people are not using her to her fullest potential, at least the people who play in tournaments know what they are doing the problem is rep. how do you get individuals who are good enough to compete off the couch and to the tournament? All tournament players can really do at this point is keep playing and wait for a new trick or a change in the metagame to come along. In other words what we have to do is encourage our talented Samus playing friends to compete.
