I have thoughts about it, but no real way to test anything... kind aggravating.

lmao it doesnt have a hitbox when dropped. I think it falls into the ground. As for bombs, someone that uses a bomb character taught me. He did it in melee as well. Bomb DI too good.

Compared to just posting it in the dBR where nobody but Diddy mains can see the thread and not stir commotion/wonder from other people who are just going to wait until people tell what it's about anyway or experiment on their own (ex: OS)? And even if they do figure out, it's probably something opponents can't control anyway, so it's just instead infuriating Diddy mains (basically me) who can't figure it out and people refuse to tell? that's a horrible disguise.
I still don't know where to look into because there just seems to be too many variables as to why it could drop, and it still seems random sometimes (do they still randomly drop from your hands or is it controlled every single time?). I've tried every button combination I can think of at any possible time and in all of them a banana still drops. so...
