Ike's Final Smash was revealed today.....

No no no, canon does matter, Krystal looks out of place with her command or assault suits, her first and most unique appearance is the Adventures one, she was never meant to fit the Star Fox series, she was just added to the cast after adventures for a much needed female character, so stop kidding yourself.

In case you didn't know, Adventures wasn't supposed to be a Star Fox game, it was supposed to be called Dinosaur Planet and have Krystal as it's only lead, that's Krystal's game even if she became a space bounty hunter like Fox in the next game, she is still the same character from Dinosaur Planet, continuity is not a factor here.
SHE WAS NOT THE ONLY MAIN CHARACTER! This guy here was her adopted brother (forget his name, and she was the adopted one) his partner was Tricky hers was I forget but she was a cloudrunner princess. Anyway he fought with a dagger and the warpstone was used to change between the two.

In Adventure, she looks 100% out of place. Heck, Adventure was out of place. Krystal was the only good thing that came out of that game. Adventure is considered the worse of the Starfox games, and put a bad taste in everyones mouths. Besides being a mediocre game, it brought nothing that was symbolic of the franchise. Krystal's looks in Assault and Command adhere to how the franchise is suppose to be. It's not about collecting nuts for dinosaurs. It's about flying in Spaceships and shooting things. Krystals designs are that of a female pilot, but is also futuristic (which was common in the Assault designs). I feel these designs fit her personality better. She seemed a bit hallow in the Adventure ones (to me at least).

adventures sparked the starfox series, i happen to loive that game more then any of the other ones. that is the only reason that some people started playing the starfox series, and yet some were let down because command was sopposed to be amazing. Krystal's designs are that of a tribal cat which were modified into a fox. a Starfox game with fox fighting on foot was one of the most requested games for the starfox franchise.

What gets me is why do people dislike the Command one. Its essentially the same as the Assault, except it's purple and doesn't look like leather. It is more fitting for the franchise. I will say I pray to God she doesn't have her Adventure design in Brawl (which probably wont be a problem). She will really feel out of place. If you want to talk about canon, she will be breaking canon by being in another design as this is suppose to be the characters post Command.

it isnt anything like the assault i dont have a problem with assault! and with the arguement your proposing the Assault is "more Fitting" to the franchise. the Assault looks more futuristic and looks more like a space pilot, and the still kept some of her face stucture. (which helps alot for her head looking proportional to her body)
i pray to the real God of us(the christians) that if the is in the she has her adventures outfit on.

It is not more fitting to the franchise and it certainly isn't more fit for Krystal, stop arguing that, no one wants her shooting laser guns and having a reflector in her belt, people want her staff and her unique moveset, that's pretty much why most people or at least almost all of us in this thread hate the assault costume and the command costume, not to mention Command truly is the worst Star Fox game of the franchise.

The only reason I haven't returned the game is because it has Starfox in the title.

Ontopic: It would be a complete waste of a character slot if Krystal does not have her staff. Nobody wants Krystal running around in futuristic clothing shooting lasers. It's possible that they could create a new costume for Krystal while giving her staff a slightly futuristic look.

wow, still waiting for an update, and I can't believe its been this long. I've patiently kept telling myself, ok, any day now, Krystal as a PC... every weeknight since the end of MAY. This is being dragged out for far too long, I wish Sakurai would hurry up and post the update. All evidence points that she's there, and I would bet more than likely she's playable over just being an AT, so I hope this update comes soon.

If you want the story, look up "Krystal can't enjoy her sammich" or sandwich, on E.D. and you'll get a fairly decent explanation of where it comes from. I guess she can't enjoy her sammich cuz you guys keep saying she won't be in. It's distracting. Let her eat. :3

Actually, if you ask me, Krystal will probably be a starting character because Sakurai seems to be filling in "holes" in the starting roster. What I mean by this is that Sakurai is giving the franchises that have been around since the original (and not unlockable) and have only had one rep at the beginning in each installment at least one new rep from the get-go in Brawl. For example, Kirby got Metaknight (and maybe King Dedede too but it's too early to decide if he isn't unlockable or not), DK got Diddy Kong, Metroid got ZSS (yes, I'm fully aware it's still Samus but it's basically the Zelda/Shiek situation in Melee), and Pokemon got the Pokemon Trainer. Now, that just leaves us with the Yoshi (which it's unlikely that it'll get another rep as it is) and Star Fox franchises. Besides the fact that Krystal has pretty much been an obvious addition since Brawl was announced (like Diddy Kong and King Dedede, I might add), she had four mentions in Sakurai's journal (keep in mind that Diddy had four, King Dedede had four, and Ike had four) and she would fill the "hole" of another female character in the roster. Also, from my perspective, making her unlockable would be sort of pointless because she doesn't exactly have a "surprize" factor to her much like many of the characters that are already in the starting ranks.

Keep in mind that the two updates before Ike and Sonic were announced sucked too so Sakurai could be preparing to wail on us later this week. On the other hand, the fact that this is the second time that taunts have been in an update is pretty insulting...
