Then again....Sakurai's updates are about as mixed-up as a bag of chex. Stages, items, final smashes, everywhere. None of them being presented in any particular order so much to the extent we have to rely on gut feelings.

Any of you ever get that post-test anxiety that comes after you know you didn't study for an exam? You get this pit in the feeling of your stomach just before you are about to find out your grade. I will be feeling that way come Friday's update, because everything up till now suggests something big is going to happen soon and as good as Gray Fox is, I don't think hes going to stop the presses and be the cooler talk subject for the week. Not as an AT anyway...

I don't think the leak will really have any effect.. I mean I doubt that HQ in Japan cares much of such rumors on the american soil

It's the web. . . Im sure someone who can read english read about this and told a higher up about it who could have fond out if she was allowed to say that or not. (Im guessing there was some transferring of info at Nintendo given that it was up for 4-5 days. Gonintendo is a site that even Nintendo workers look at so if they knew about it for that long I assume someone was asking around)


On the 4th (3 days after it was taken from the site) I e-mailed asking if she was still Krystal's VA and she said she can't answer anything "with regards to this game" so im guessing she got warned. Probly doesn't have a effect on when Krystal is releaved. . .or it could be a sign that her NDA was close to being over and she just jumped the gun

Now that you bring it up, I wonder how many people e-mailed her when it was up. . . I e-mailed her well after it was taken down so I don't count

Anyway, I would take it that NOA told her to take it down. I simply asked if she was still Krystal's VA (after giving her props for Assult) and she said she can't answer that (but thanked me for the props). . .but days ago she had it on her site so I take it theres no more talky about this from her

Sakurai has never revealed an unlockable character before release before, what if krystal was one of the unlockables and we won't know for sure until the game is realeased.... OH THE HORROR.

He already has revealed unlockables for Brawl though - Sonic and Snake are known to be such, since he mentioned in his journal that he felt that was most appropriate for "guest" characters, and King Dedede most likely is as well, since it wouldn't make much sense for the whole Kirby crew to be starters. Besides, he also mentioned in his journal that he wouldn't hold any characters back, since all the surprises will be spoiled via the internet on or even before the day of the release anyway.

I'll give you the first two but a Krystal update would be better than Sonic IMO. He just didn't do that much for me.

I'm sticking to her update next week.

I don't think all characters should be unlocked via Subspace because then it would be so easy to get everyone...
Doing hard event matches and other such things should at least be how you unlock some of the characters.

<_< in melee you can get everyone just by playing vs. mode repeatedly.

Just like melee, there should be various methods of obtaining all of the characters.

I dont doubt for a second there will be multiple ways to earn everyone. especialy with all the modes we have already.

that would mean snake is the unlockable, but that makes sense, he wasnt in the demo. but we were talking about dojo announcesments/updates, not demo playables.

Didn't bother me much - whats a couple of months when we've been waiting two years already, especially if that time gets used to make the game even better? Only the actor's manager can modify IMDB's profiles and I doubt any manager is as stupid as to put false work in her resume.

A fair number of veterans - Ganondorf, Luigi, Mewtwo, Marth, etc. Of newcomers though, not much. Ridley is the only one that comes to mind, and perhaps Captain Olimar.

I've got my money on PC and some clown over at Gamefaqs has decided to pull a foolish stunt should Krystal not be announced tonight.
