like 20%, for example if you have a dsmash happy mk i dont recommend trying though....

and 4 tblock Really nice jiggs great nair usage and dair,
just grab more, use dash attack more 4 killing maybe even fsmash, and dont stall fair against wario

for punishing biting, id say charge rollout, release it until he closes his mouth, works pretty fine, but rollout kinda sucks so yeah, id rather use pound or dair on the tip of his head

Popping and locking butt naked.
Air release is not garunteed, they will only air release if the wario is a moron.

grab more.

dash attack is a nifty kill move.

i am seconding all that good advice already said.

but definitely air dodge to grab more son.

they will only airrelease when when they break free and you're not pummeling, if you keep pummeling they will groundbreak

"pummel = ground break" is only a general trend... there's more to it than that i'm sure. http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=272018

all i know is, it's definitely possible for wario to ground release even if you're not pummeling. as far as i know, the only way to 100% guarantee an air release is to grab wario with his feet not touching the ground (either over the edge or with a character that holds him high enough)

If you don't believe me, go try it. You have to pummel at least once. If you don't pummel at all, he ground releases. Pummel once or twice, then stop. He'll air release as long as he doesn't break out during those initial pummels.

Go try it.

...

Right now!

i would if my wii's disc reader weren't broken >_<

but as soon as i can play brawl again, you can bet i will

edit: yeah i tested. it's definitely not as simple as you're claiming. the first time i tried, i pummelled once with wario air releasing and i got all excited (my brother was like WHAT). but after that he made sure to struggle properly, and didn't air release unless he messed up.

Aww I thought you had a video about it. Yeah I did a little more testing and I think there's something about the number of times you pummel and their percentage. At higher percents do a couple pummels and then stop. It may not be guaranteed but given puff's limited kill options I'd take the chance over using a regular throw.

bleh i wish this weren't so complicated. so just to be clear, your wario air released even without entering a jump input during the struggle?

veril where are youuuuu

Lol I have no idea. I think he was mashing buttons. Also I tried it against the computers but who knows what input they do when grabbed. Like I said I have no clue if it's guaranteed but the worst that can happen is they ground release and you didn't get that extra 8%. Best is a kill, legendary status to everyone watching, and major intimidation mindgames on the wario player.

Well of course they know about it. But, how embarrassing is it to be grab released into rest. With everyone watching. And shouting. And them crying. It's gotta get to them a little.

No half-decent Wario is ever going to voluntarily air break from a grab. The odds of Jigglypuff ever getting a non-suicide grab release rest on Wario is close to nil.

drill rest is too good to pass up. watch for DI you have time to confirm the hit or miss. before you set of the rest most of the time. you can also bait errors by conditioning reactions. Dair->jab and watch how they react. A lot of people will try to roll or spot dodge to avoid the grab or jab (or potential drill rest like it works) if you read that DI you get a garunteed 100% safe rest.

If you are confident in your conditioning drilling a shield and then imediately resting out of it can net high risk kills. almost everyone will drop shield to punish your drill or move away from you. rest punishes every option except invincible frame 1 stuff and continuing sheilding

I've updated the archive from January onwards. I've messed with the format somewhat, but I'll adjust the colors when I get the time.

Edit: Removed dead links. Still working on organization.

I'll add them soon enough. All of your videos are still on the most recent page, so I wasn't in a hurry to add them to the OP.

Work on movement and don't do everything oos. Only bait things oos as they happen. Your using your shield too much and the depleting shield is causing you to get frustrated and either roll or throw out a move oos. Falco particularly tends to look for shields as an opportunity to bait your oos options with jabs. the best thing to do oos when u expect a spot dodge is to dair. Practice doing short hop dairs oos with tap jump and not regular jump. That way it will feel as comfortable as a nair or bair. Several times in the matches you would get lucky oos hits because your opponent accidentally dropped his shield early. If your opponent shields while you shield, there's a good chance that they expect an oos air move and will spotdodge or jab. Dair comes out faster and covers the spotdodge option. Also try first shorthopping, then waiting half a second and then nairing with your second jump(mash two jump buttons so u can footstool jump when and if they continue to shield...the bottom hitbox of nair will hit the top of falco and be out of jab range. The timing is also misleading and will beat reactive oos options. Hope these tips help. Great puff, you understand camping fundamentals and playing gay, now work on mindgames and being creative. Be one step ahead and don't take the escalator because it can suck you in by your pant legs(metaphor for not letting your shield carry you in matches, but let your opponents shield carry you to victory.)xd

Against Falco, seems like most of your mistakes were falling for his shield too much. He got a couple of Usmashes OoS off of you. :(

Against Snake you were using Rollout terribly, no offense. You got punished several times for using it to approach, which doesn't work (against smart opponents). Especially against Snake, who has mines and grenades everywhere. Rollout is a punish, not an approach ;o

Your puff is pretty good otherwise, just those mistakes cost you.

Thanks for the critique guys. AtWoodman: I'll def try those. It sounds like it would work very well in my favor. :D Thank you.

@ Era: Thanks for the feedback. The only reason i was using rollout so much is because that Snake player is known by our crew to never be able to dodge that attack because he trys to challenge it so much. Haha. Thanks for the critique though guys :D
