PND Mike versus. . .

Ally?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjeKkAY866o

The first match was good, the second I was too busy laughing, taunting, and singing. I had a bad Jiggs day, but the other tourney I was at got some more Jiggs matches, once they get uploaded I'll share them and you guys can critique.

I know I staled fair, but it was impossible NOT to against Ally. His spacing and pressure is too good, I didn't really have an option. And the sing in the first match was a botched rising pound. Ally's too cool.

I have so many other tourney matches against good Falcons where I destroy them. Ally is SOO smart, he knew how to read me like a book.

The grab release UpB is avoidable, I just didn't know about it until it hit me, lol. I was avoiding the rest of them afterward.

Y'know, posting the same videos twice doesn't give me any more incentive to actually watch them.

Midwest Circuit Championship Doubles!

Me and Pops beat Ally's team round 1, lost to a Snake MK round 2, then beat a bunch of teams only to lose to Ally in Loser's Bracket. We got like 9th or something. Check out this match!

For a minute there I thought you were talking about the Snake Ally. And that would have been amazing if a Jigglypuff beat Ally's Snake and his probably very good partner in a doubles tourney. But its not really Snake Ally is it.

There are three things you could do:
1. Stop attacking his shield so that he can easily punish you
A general piece of advice, i only watched a minute because you attacked the front of his shield so much without retreating, and got shieldgrabbed multiple times.

2. Learn 2 Powershield
Probably good for arrow spammy pits

3. Use a better character
The best advice yet! Use someone like kirby, or better yet DDD (at least DDD doesn't have a stale metagame like kirby and jiggs!).

The only individual thing I'll comment on is that you did a good job at regaining your momentum on Brinstar. Now for the fun part.

You do realize that you're fighting Pit and not Marth, right? Pit doesn't have the range in which one MUST fair-*****. If it wasn't a pound/dair grab, you were Fairing. Also, don't use Fair for projectile canceling; stick with Nair, Pound (not so much with arrows), or Dair. Dair has a long lasting and relatively large hitbox and it works especially well while coming back onstage against an onslaught of arrows.

I also noticed that the Pit you were fighting had a tendency to recover high. You would sometimes jump once or twice, but then stop and not even attempt to stop him. Try to notice trends in your opponent's recovery style and adapt to it! If you can force WoI, you win.

Believe it or not, Meta actually makes a good point about your assault on the front of Pit's shield. Poke with Bairs, or FALLING Pounds (which can lead to a grab attempt or whatever). If your attack failed, GTFO and try again.

I'll leave it to that for now.

On a Nebulae...called M78.
anyone got worthwhile videos of Jigglypuff facing Peach? I'm curious to see how to fight Peach's air floatiness and her barrage of forward attacks that knock back quickly. Having a little issue trying to hit with backairs on her to force her back.

Peach is really hard to approach with all the float canceled aerials. Bait utilt/ftilt/smash/jab/grab after a float cancel and then punish. I had some awesome doubles matches against a great peach but 1 they're doubles and 2 the kids hard drive crashed. There are definitely forces beyond this world prohibiting me of recording good matches...

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

1. There are no "great" Midwest peaches aside from mabey Mikey Lentetia
2. Peach's "Float canceling" was in melee. I believe you're referring to autocanceled Fair which jigglypuff can only punish really with pound, and even then peach can shield immediately after the Fair and punish pound. Fair absolutely *** ****s jigglypuff. I played against Bone in friendlies, and while his peach isn't what it used to be (due to inactivity), it's still probably one of the top 5 peaches out there.
3. Peach doesn't **** jigglypuff but she beats her. Anyone who thinks otherwise has not played an amazing peach (note I said amazing, not good, Niko is good mike but he's no praxis or edrees).
