geno would be the best present ever, and it looks like sakurai is feeling like giving good stuff this week.

you know I've thought of this before but I didnt think anything of it, out of the Mario Series was Bowser Jr. or Paper Mario ever mentioned in the journal? Because it seems like they are the only other Mario reps that have a chance. Obviously we know that Geno was, but I'm not sure about the other two

Guys, you're in the wrong place if you're here to discuss Megaman and Pacman. I don't mean to sound like a jerk. I just don't want this thread to be closed because a few people can't stay on topic.

And yeah, I too am hoping for something really good this week. Obviously, a Geno confirmation would be best. We can only hope.

Nah, they didn't get journal mentions.

And I'm beginning to become more and more suspicious about Geno's arrival in Brawl.
Sakurai has been dropping us little hints all along, like when he said he considered Geno first party even though he wasn't. He said this after receiving an e-mail. My question is, why didn't he pick another e-mail if he didn't think about Geno? He's dropped us hints like this before, such as, "Don't throw away your gamecube controllers yet", or "Aerial fights will dominate the battle", afterwards gliding was confirmed, along with more characters having tether moves. "We will try to make more in depth storyline this time around", and so SSE came along a little bit later; not to mention Geno's storyline could fit in very nice with the SSE. That's my take on it anyway, and it's just a bit suspicious.

I think he already exists in the game, but that's just my opinion, and I'll definently be spoiling those characters for myself the 24th of January.

Man, I remember Geno being broken as heck in SMRPG.

Hopefully he'll still have Geno Whirl or whatever that attack was in Brawl should he be released =D

His boost would probably be a taunt, as I don't see how "buffs" would work in Brawl if not obtained from an item.

I'd imagine he'd have his whirl, beam, flash, and blast though.

Geno Bost shoud be his Up B is what I still think. He spreads his arms out and launches himself upwards. Blue arrows pointing up follow him. He is boosting himself upwards.

Geno Boost from the RPG, was a kind of thing that boosted your defense and strength of any party member. Geno's buff basically.

I would like that, kind of like how Samus/DK charges up their move, Geno could get his little charge off so his next attack is stronger.

Yes, but this saves Sakurai 24 hours with no sleep of thinking of a move name. =P

At least since they call them recovery's he's sorta recovering himself.

That's what I always thought his recovery could be.

Joy...HES back. Anyways the only way we will know if Geno is 3rd party or not if he, like Snake and Sonic gets a intro vid like they did.
