........eh... iceys vs ganon is hard
sure if we get a grab it should be a stock, but just because each regrab of the chaingrab does more damage (we get to choose between dthrow+dsmash > regrab and the dthrow reverse dair infinite) doesn't change the fact that really, against every character a grab is supposed to be a stock (jiggly**** excluded).
approaching a ganon with iceys sucks ***. jab outruns and outreaches our wd jab, and shieldstun makes it non wd>shieldgrabable. on top of that EVERY ONE OF GANON'S MOVES separates us, and nana does not survive long against ganon at all.
everyone says falcon is iceys worst matchup besides peach, i disagree. at least we can force falcon to approach and then cover all his approach options (utilt beats half his aerials, ftilt beats the other half, jab to grab owns). if we force ganon to approach with blocks and blizzards, ganon can rush in with a fair, and if he hits our shield we can't shieldgrab unless he SERIOUSLY misspaced (neither ace or jim do). if we mistimed our shield, nana gets hit and then popo is fuxored.
the reason why i wanted to play Jim was because I had a lot of fun playing him at herb2 and I felt like I was getting better at the matchup, although i was losing. Also jim's a cool guy.
i'm bringing melee to omni's, obviously. hopefully i can get some practice vs people other than karn and foxy?
Although you may be a good IC player (i've never seen you play, but foxy seems to think so and you OWNED Scar) you're probably just lacking in some basics of fighting ganon, particularly with IC's...being that I have 0 problem at all competing with Ace's ganon and I rarely play IC's anymore. Most people that think this match-up is hard (or 90% of the other match-ups, with ganon) is that they just don't understand ganon. A good ganon player is just going to wait for the opportunity while not getting hit, then capitalize on it. Just don't give him that opportunity.. or try to, I mean. It's not going to work every time... So basically you have to try to do the same thing. Instead of forcing him into a situation that will get you a grab, mind-game him with some fast wavedashes and spam until the opportunity arises; THEN grab and infinite that ***. This is where spacing comes in... spacing is so crucial with fighting ganon being that doing it improperly could possibly result in 3 hits / 60% and/or death. You don't have to play a defensive game, you just have to be creative and mind-game. Uair and Bair are crucial, stuff like wavedash to SH + one of those aerials. And yes, the Uair will own the stomp. The stomp has too much lag and you can time around it. Know when to crouch cancel when you're up close and space nana and popo so you both don't get wrecked if you feel like taking a risk.eh... iceys vs ganon is hard
because you suck....?PLUR, why aren't I on these yet?
Thank you. I got really lucky.nice finish in b+ the other day plur.

Look on the bright side, at least you don't have to worry about getting chaingrabbed.
All of Ganon's moves have enough wind up that when he actually gets close enough to you to hit you with the next move you can just simply run in and hit him when you see him starting the move that otherwise would hit you.
Well, if either ICs or Fox are winning Ganon still has to be the one approaching, which is the situation you want to be in vs ganon most of the time. At least, that's the way I play him.IC's can't camp Ganon. Fair/Bair ice blocks all day, too easy.
Fox's camping can easily be shut down with perfect wavelands almost all stages.
Good Ganons won't make it easy for you to camp them, trust me.
I guess Hyrule is one of the exceptions?almost all stages.
I see how it is.I haven't gone against a good samus so i wouldn't know but I understand.

Jews may drink as much or more, but they seem to number fewer alcoholics. Of the three major U.S. religious groups, Jews have the fewest teetotalers: 13%, as compared to 21% of Roman Catholics and 41% of Protestants. Regular drinking (three or more times a week) is reported by 23% of Jews, 27% of Catholics and 13% of Protestants. But when it comes to alcoholism, Jews are virtually out of the picture. First admissions (1929-31) per 100,000 of "alcoholic psychotics" in New York state hospitals: Irish, 25.6; Scandinavian, 7.8; Italian, 4.8; English, 4.3; German, 3.8; Jewish, 0.5.Lucas
