I was thinking either Omega Ridley or Meta Ridley transformation to perform plasma ****. Either would be cool, leaning towards Omega due to how much cooler it makes him sound. But I wouldn't be too fussy.

I just can't wait to see him in motion.

after all, Sam always has been smart, and she has an athlethe body.

Likewise, Ridley's always been pretty smart himself (as hinted by his appearances in the Metroid mangas with him talking and what not), and can be quite agile as well (in both the air and on the ground) when he wants.

Yeah. I still have my doubts about ZSS being able to beat Ridley. While there may be a chance for her to outsmart him somehow in order to escape, I don't think that chance would make her able to "kill" him. Only when she has her Chozo-designed Power Suit and fires a bunch of Missiles & Super Missiles can she do that.

Btw, Samus as a kid looks SOOO cute !

-This fish pretty much confirms Balloon Fighter as a playable character.
-Balloon Fighter was supposed to be in Melee.

He was supposed to be in Melee since Sakurai wanted him to be, but because of time constraints and not being able to have a move set, he was axed. Now Sakurai has had plenty of years to develop a move set for him, and he is being added to the game. Along with Ridley.

When Ridley was told that he wasn't going to be in Melee, he grabbed the nearest characters (Balloon Fighter, King Dedede, etc.) and said "If I go down I'm taking you with me!" However, King Dedede escaped his grasp 6 years later, and finally made it to Brawl. Ridley is obviously chasing him down.

I think Sakurai would have kept the Flipper around if he were showing any true Balloon Fighter support. Not saying it might not be, but bringing the Bumper back would be redundant if he still planned on putting it in. I think the fish is just a plain old cameo.
