ya, I know I dont NEED it. But I needed Din's fire for shadow temple so I just thought, "might as well get all the othe spells" and woo.

Because it's the first boss?It's way too difficult to pick a favorite OoT boss because they're all awesome. Even the easy ones look amazing:

But he's referring to how it looks. Despite it being the first boss, it looks far more dangerous than the likes of say Morpha.
I'm a bit miffed at the 3DS pricetag, but seeing those OoT screens and hearing the Megaman Legends 3 news has eased the pain a bit

I agree. Kid Icarus doesn't look too bad, either. Not to mention Star Fox 64 3D.
Well the "$300" price tag probably isn't final. Japanese games usually translate to about $100-110 U.S. Dollars, which is unrealistic, so I would suspect the 3DS will be about $200-250 at most.

I don't see why people care so much about the 3ds price. My iPod was around 300, and I'll use the 3ds a LOT more than my iPod.

Thank god for your edit. I was about to **** myself. Not even the Wii when it first came out has the pirce of 300$.

PS3 is 600 (back then) 360 is 400~500(ish?) back then. They made Wii cheap to win the market, of course.
Who is going to compete with 3DS? Sony? LOL with their 10~15 good psp games? Nope.
5 Reasons 300 Dollars is understandable and acceptable:
1) It's 3D and comes with a lot. Look at iPods, Phones, etc. It's not a bad deal with current tech. Yes it's more than the Wii, but the Wii is 4+ years old.
2) It's games are staying the same price. Be thankful for that, as console games have gradually gone up.
3) You most likely are not going to be disappointed. It comes with a lot of stuff?
4) Nintendo owns the handheld market. If you were them, would you shave 100 dollars off when you know you can get 300? I wouldn't, but that's just me.
5) It probably won't have hardware failure, as most Nintendo products do not. (By that I mean launch failure)

Regardless of the price, i think basically all of us r gonna get it, except me. I just really dont see the point in buying a game you have already + $300 just for a little better graphics. Unless a mass amount of LoZ games will be made on the 3DS, which wont happen, Im not fallin for this.
I'm not buying it just for Zelda. I want Megaman Legends 3, MGS3D, Starfox, new Resident Evil, Kid Icarus, etc. And that's only stuff that's confirmed already. If it keeps up like this the 3DS is gonna have a killer library.
