LOOOOOOOL I troll in zelda mu. I always go for JV 4.
But yeah, I'm naturally campy. If i mess up an input error on a defensive read, then i get upset. Like messing up a pivot grab on an MK you no is going to dash attack you. or like getting hit by nado and not nairing through it.
missing powershields etc etc. Zelda just sucks.

I asked grim to come to a boost and he promised to after he got a job. Basically, i'm hoping to get Jam, ryuka and grim from the states surrounding NSW to come to a boost one time (preferably they all come to the same one). Awesome.

Ill be playing some friendlies with Grim this BAM, but you'll have to wait a long time for me to travel, im 17I asked grim to come to a boost and he promised to after he got a job. What does this mean: JV2?

JV2 means killing someone with 1 stock and not getting hit on it.
When people say JV3 stock, it means the person won with having 2 stocks but not getting hit at all on their second stock.
Make sense? =P
Also I have a question for Pink/Mekos/FAE, if you know anyone who would be willing to double for Apex could you let me know? I really need to find a partner and I would rather do it sooner rather than later so I could prepare some things for it. Thanks.

It seems like they should be about even and not a tier apart. Ness has a better PK fire/flash, Fair, throw and power but Lucas has his own style of chaining attacks and a much better recovery game. So I came for inside opinions
the only thing thats the same between them is their Double Jump (ness' is higher i think)
none of their aerials are the same, nor U/D/F smashes (ness' bat is much slower and more powerful). their pk fires are used in different situations, ness' is laggier. Psi Mag can be used on Lucas offensively and as a recovery option, ness is slow and has a windbox (if that means anything). Lucas' PKT1 hits many times, whereas Ness' (since it only hits once) is used a lot more for juggling. Ness' recov sucks, but its powerful and thus its used for mindgames. Lucas' is only used for Thundersliding and racking up % (most of the time). Lucas has a jab lock setup, that is actually hard to di from and has the uSmash reward. Ness jab lock is unreliable, and you can only usually get 1 jab off before their at the range at which you tipper fsmash.
PK flash is slow, and is rarely used (unless its against DK or bowser, or youre baiting an airdodge after an upthrow/uair/utilt, to release it un charged)Pk freeze is pretty quick, can combo into dtilt locks or nairs for %, and is used to pressure a wider range of the cast offstage
Ness grab is the fastest in the game, but is small range. Lucas has a slow tether which is used defensively mainly. Sometimes used for hard reads, but it's risky.
ceebs going into gameplay, but thats the moveset differences.

I think Ness has a better close up game and less lag on like all of his attacks.

Lucas can camp tho, and his kill moves are more diverse rather than a predictable grab or a bair and uair that dont punish a spotdodge. Lucas' dsmash and usmash work good for this, and his tether is never really expected

I think they're even, don't really know how I could say which ones better, Ness is better close up, Lucas has better camping and recovering.

Well, I'd say just his moves can combo more into eachother and he can rack up damage easier, he just seems like he's a little better, and a little worse at certain things. Bout even.

Aerial.
His Dair is really powerful, nair can give them an easy jablock and can just be used pretty effectively, fair can be good for guarding and setting up a jab lock, bair is a little hard to land but it's good for killing.

I used to think Lucas was better, but now I think Ness is (somewhat) better. =P

Ness has better, reliable and more KO options than Lucas IMO. Ness has Bair, Uair, B-Throw, Nair, PK Flash (needs mindgames), PKT2 (again, needs mindgames), U-Tilt, F-Tilt, D-Smash, F-Smash (while slow, still an option) and if you count gimping, Dair. Of course some moves are better at killing than others, but these moves can kill at reasonable %s.
He can rack up damage easily and if one of his KO moves are stale, he can always use another one and can easily refresh it.
Ness has a great Fair for spacing and does decent damage.
Lucas... well Lucas may have a bit less options than Ness for killing and not as reliable, he still has good KO options. Lucas has D-Throw (though it might be better to use a Pivot Grab since it's not as laggy as his other grabs), U-Smash (again, laggy but so strong), D-Smash (also punishes spot dodgers), F-Smash, U-Air, F-Air and F-Tilt (sweetspotted) and PKT2. PKT, Bair, PSI Magnet and Dair could also be used for gimping.
I don't think Lucas can rack up damage as easily as Ness, but still good at it.
Lucas has a good PKF for spacing and does decent damage.

Recovery wise, Lucas does better as he has a Z-air, Zap Jump, a high double jump (3rd highest DJ in the game; Ness and Yoshi outclass his), better PSI Magnet stalling and a PKT2 that has more distance. Also opponents cannot be meatshields to his PKT.
Ness only has his DJ and PKT2, and PSI Magnet stalling isn't as good, though it gets the job done most of the time. =P He can also use his Fair as an anti-edgeguard.

Unfortunately they both suffer from grab release issues... Though I believe Ness can avoid some follow ups while Lucas can't and vice-versa. (I know Ness cannot be grabbed again by Yoshi, while Lucas can, but they can both be U-Air/U-Smashed)
However, Ness' attacks aren't as laggy as Lucas, so Ness isn't grabbed as easily. =P

In the end though, I'd say Ness is better since his moves are more... versatile (imo) I guess you could say? He has better tools and his moves have more purpose IMO. (Like his U/D-Smash can punish rollers/spot dodgers for example) Plus I like to be in the air. (yet I still use yo-yos a lot as Ness XD)

It's sad because it's true tho, I wish we could use our tethers, but choose which grab we want, like pick if we want a short range, fast grab, or a long range slow grab.
I hate his tether, all the time the rope snake touches the ledge and lets go, they added a lot of Mother 3 things in to make Lucas more like Lucas actually is, but the ropesnake didn't need his old reputation of having a weak jaw and always letting go and letting people plummit to their death coming to brawl
