Yeah, that would be a bit depressing. though, no use worrying about it unless it ends up happening. This whole Blizzard/Hong Kong fiasco really makes me hope SNK doesn't do what Blizzard did if they were put into a similar position. A big part of me thinks that they actually would though since they are partially a Chinese owned company and a big chunk of their profits are from there.
That's great! So I’ve dived into the lore of Fatal Fury to learn as much as I can about Terry and , we’ll... everyone.
By watching the Fatal Fury OVAs (And then the movie, and then the KOF movie(s?).)
So far I’m really enjoying them. I enjoyed Fatal Fury 2 more than 1, since I expected so much more out of the fight against Geese. But it was still awesome. Tonight I go for OVA #3.
One thing I’ve always loved about KOF more than SF is how meaty the story of KOF is (or seems to be) for a fighting game. Meanwhile SF doesn’t offer much in terms of story unless you complement it with the mangas.
So in a really short span of what I’ve seen and played, Terry is way more interesting to me than Ryu and Ken. And this coming from someone who was obsessed with SF as a kid, and consider myself a casual KOF player today.
I guess I just felt like ranting a bit about Terry cause he’s awesome.m, and can’t wait for his release day.
The KOF CGI anime series is available on SNK's YouTube and is an awesome way to experience an original KOF story that hits some familiar beats, including Terry's history with Geese. It has some shocking adult scenes though so be careful. So I’ve dived into the lore of Fatal Fury to learn as much as I can about Terry and , we’ll... everyone.

Definitely agree. The KOF CGI anime series is available on SNK's YouTube and is an awesome way to experience an original KOF story that hits some familiar bests, including Terry's history with Geese. It has some shocking adult scenes though so be careful.
Oh thanks for the info! Awesome! Yeah I’m trying to watch them in chronological order. But after the ones I watched already, I feel like I can’t get enough of FF/KOF stories.Definitely agree.
It may not be 100% accurate, but at the very least, it's a treat for everyone, including the new fans joining over from Smash.
He HAS inputs, the footage confirmed it. Also I kinda think Rising Tackle will be an up air with Power Dunk being used as a recoveryWell in terms of Terry's moveset, we have seen Neutral B and Side B. Going by how Mr Sakurai may design him, Up B is probably going to be Rising Tackle and Down B would most likely be Power Geyser while his Final Smash is probably going to be Buster Wolf. Up Smash could be Crack Shoot, Down Smash could be his shoulder barge attack and his forward smash could be power dunk. He will most likely have inputs like Ryu and Ken excluding the medium and will have a meter he will fill by dealing and taking hits which will power up his stats and a single attack
Yep oops sorry. Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't inputs confirmed as he crouched just before performing burn knuckle. And I'd rather him not have riding tackle as an up air because there are quite a few up airs like that already but if it was an up b it would automatically be a unique attack. Off the top of my head there is joker, greninja, shiek, Seamus, dark samus and possibly moreHe HAS inputs, the footage confirmed it. Not only that, but if you slow the footage down you see 2 flash effects, one is from Marth's Shield Breaker and the other is the same flash Ryu and Ken have when you correctly input the commands for a special moveYep oops sorry. That's cool then. Its really cool how correctly sakurai portrays the characters in smash as a 2.5d perspective. It's like your playing their games in a sense and with how correctly the characters have been portrayed thus far, Terry will most likely be no exceptionNot only that, but if you slow the footage down you see 2 flash effects, one is from Marth's Shield Breaker and the other is the same flash Ryu and Ken have when you correctly input the commands for a special move
They could add a lane switching mechanic like in Fatal Fury. If the devs can pull off Spiral Mountain’s rotation, they can do this too. What sort of gimmicks will Terry's stage have? I don't see them just making it a simple flat plane stage. Maybe it'll change like Coliseum/Pokemon Stadium or the characters in the background will help out.
My take? It's ASSIST TROPHIES/STAGE BOSSES: the stage. What sort of gimmicks will Terry's stage have? I don't see them just making it a simple flat plane stage. Maybe it'll change like Coliseum/Pokemon Stadium or the characters in the background will help out.
Bringing his signature moves into the fray, Terry is almost ready to brawl in Super #SmashBrosUltimate! Get the Fighters Pass today & see who’s the real king of fighters when Terry arrives in November!https://t.co/y7jm0Rdp4i pic.twitter.com/sUZyiGAtaB

That said, I love the idea of the fighters in the background stepping in to help as the stage gimmick. That was a whole mechanic, wasn't it? Where your standby fighters in your tag team could step in?What sort of gimmicks will Terry's stage have? I don't see them just making it a simple flat plane stage. Good thing Ken's Final Smashes are from MVC and SFIII rather than Super SFII Turbo. No fear
"Terry didn't always have Buster Wolf so imagine if Sakurai chose not to give him that so he can purely focus on the original Fatal Fury"
One fear
This is gonna be fun.Maximilian Dood is doing a Terry Legacy series of videos now, which should be fun (and judging from his experience with Fatal Fury 1) funny.
No, it's like a kendo match where a player keeps a character until they die with health returning to the character in small amounts between rounds. The meter cap also increases by one for each character KO'd (Up to 5 bars). The reason they're standing there is to help with the atmosphere, they react when you hit the opponent, get hit by the opponent, lose to the opponent, and win against the opponent. It gives off the tournament vibe really well and I hope it comes back for XV.That said, I love the idea of the fighters in the background stepping in to help as the stage gimmick. Already got it downloaded, just about 4 more hours. Hopefully enough people pre-registered for the free 5*, but if they didn't Yuri is cool too.KOF ALL STARS RELEASES TOMORROW
Got it, downloaded it already, and am genuinely enjoying it.Already got it downloaded, just about 4 more hours. Hopefully enough people pre-registered for the free 5*, but if they didn't Yuri is cool too.

Neat! I have Real Bout Fatal Fury downloaded and bought SNK Heroines a while back and had a lot of fun with it. I even downloaded Real Bout Special and am currently playing that.View attachment 242995View attachment 242996
I brought these games out and im ready to go for november.
Had to go with my girl King! I have Team Women Fighters as my main three (King, Baseball Yuri, Mai) with Terry, Ryo, and Andy as my strikers respectively.Game has a reroll event where you can keep rolling until you get what you want without needing to spend anything between rolls, which is pretty. This is on top of the gems and free 5* selector they give you at the start, surprised that we got so many pre-registrations for the reward, 1.5 million.
For the people playing the game, who did you choose for the 5*? I chose Shermie personally.
