So we might be able to do Project M friendlies at the tournament anyway, provided we bring extension cords and don't mind setting it up outside. Just thought I'd bring it up.

We'd also need a spare TV most likely, as I imagine all the other ones will be used for Melee and I don't have any portable TVs.

(apparently it's becoming an increasing trend for employees to lift stuff from their workplace, from pens to computer monitors XD. I actually did see someone lift a TV monitor from work on Tuesday.)

Nah all the TVs at my work are LCDs and plasmas. **** that ****. At least until Wii 2 comes out and there will finally be HD games worth playing.

inb4 the next smash game is announced by the end of this year(or next year).
although to be fair its gonna be REALLY hard to be disappointed at it since my expectations are so low for it already.

I don't think the Wii can really be considered part of the "HD generation" if that's how you choose to define generations (I don't), since...well...HD isn't supported on it.

So it's still two separate generations.

So the Wii is still part of the 128-bit gen then? Or is it the motion-control gen? I need to categorize this somehow.

It's part of the current gen just due to the release date and competition (sorta, though it doesn't compete with 360 and PS3 the same way they compete with each other), but the hardware is basically last gen.

im down for this weekend. are we going on saturday or is there a friday night place to stay, if so what would phil and cmart, the people i will be driving with like to do?

I'm going straight to TH's house after work today. I'm pretty sure cmart is planning on going down today too, but I dunno what time. Phil, I have no idea. He hasn't said anything in days.
