Ehh yeah I'm an impatient person so I think I'll just head down myself then. Best of luck getting down w/ Phil tho.

Holy ****

Where the hell have you been?

@TH: Has my teams finally stopped herping its derps?
I dunno. After I got a damn job I kinda seemed to stray away from videogames in general...then I started playing League of Legends with Blank and Val and etc. Then MAAAAHvel. But sometime I kinda wanna get back into PM at least.

Just been paying off this damn laptop until now. I just got my first paycheck that DIDN'T get eaten instantly. So maybe I could visit if you like.

Yeah man you should come to a tourney/smashfest sometime. All we've had is Neko who's like a bigger you.

I am the greatest smash player of all time. My techniques and strats have been copied throughout the ages.

I have also been known to buy out banks for absolutely no reason.

Nintendo is now called Jewtendo.

and Super Smash Brothers Brawl is now...

Super Jewish Money Maker, Nurok Style.

Yeah. I'm not back, I just liek to troll :D

Oh btw cmart, my family BWW night is now on Thursdays, so I'll no longer be free to train on that night, but my Mondays have opened up.

Tonight I'm hanging with Bandit though, but tomorrow I should be good to train.

btw, 3 Glads + Sage/Priest is a huge bucket of ****. By the 2nd turn each of my Glads is averaging >2000 damage. I'm leveling up these legacy bosses like mad.

Hmmm. There's no way I could make the actual tourny, but if you guys are doing things sat night as well I could come.

Just as well @ Caeser - thurs is generally the day I work on the shooter w/ my friend - I was working around training since Smash is also important to me, but this frees up my schedule a bit.

Definitely had some Falco influence. lol I have more tricks up my sleeve. ;) (SD = spindash) I just wasn't comfortable doing any except SD-nair. Have you ever had anyone SD into grabs? I started doing it against CPUs and it seems like it would dominate. Instead of having to jab reset you can just SD to pop them into the air and then grab, but I'm not sure how easy it is to DI out of it. I also would like to work on aerials OOSD. Since Sonic has such a hard time killing, stuff like SD -> SH fair/bair could help a lot, but I think you'd have to read their DI from the SD instantly; not sure. I also wasn't using his uair as well as I should have. It's probably his best kill move on some of the lower ceilings, especially if I can get a simple uthrow -> uair -> Spring -> uair. I only did that to you like once. Inventing new metagame is MAD fun, but intimidating. @_@

Also meant to ask, is there any way I can get some of the mods you have? Like 'Stand Up' as the menu song and the costumes? My Wii doesn't have homebrew if that's required, but I figured there'd be someway to just download a file into a folder on the SD.
TH occasionally does some SD cancel stuff. Definitely seems useful. Sonic has a lot of untapped metagame for sure. One thing you could work on is gimping. It's a big part of Sonic's game, and dropzone fair is amazing. Look up "Fireball Stars" on youtube, he's a really good P:M Sonic. Uthrow -> uair doesn't really work btw. It's way too easy to DI.

Music and costumes are easy, no hacking required. You just put them in a certain spot on your SD. I can definitely help you with that.

Yeah, I realized pretty early on I could dropzone fair for gimps, but it was one of those things I kinda just forgot to implement as I focused on hitting you and stuff. It will come with some more experience. As far as hacks, where can I download them, and what folder should I put them into?

This is really disappointing. This was like, my #1 go-to scrub combo! You guys have officially ruined this game for me, and I will not be buying your game as I feel it is not worth any amount of money I could give you-

*notices Diddy* EEEEEEEEEE~

Who is included in the demo anyway? I kind-of forget. Oh, and I hear AGT is getting taken out (or has already). Frankly I'm pretty sad there too...so much potential wasted. Or mainly because I just LOVE DANCING IN THE AIR THROWING **** BACK AND FORTH AND NOT GIVING A ****!!!! I mean, AFTER the infinite AGT got fixed.

It never worked in Brawl or Brawl+ either so I don't know why you'd be complaining now...
It still works on scrubs or bad DI though, as always.

Demo characters:
Captain Falcon
Falco
Fox
Ganondorf
Mr. Game & Watch
Jigglypuff
Link
Lucas
Mario
Marth
Sheik
Snake
Sonic
Zelda

AGT still exists, but you only go like 1/4 as far as you could before. It's actually necessary for Link's bomb jumping and it's useful for other things like quickly switching your momentum.

@Bones: Go here for music stuff (goes in pf/sound/strm folder on your SD) and go here for textures (goes in pf/fighter/fitcharacter depending on character)

Ah oh well. I've got something to do tomorrow, so I guess no training this week. Maybe College Park will have a smashfest on Friday.

Duoh. If CP is doing a smashfest I might be able to catch that. They typically do it around 4ish right.

Damn, it figures, right after I buy DQ5 from Waffle, Amazon finally gets it back in stock. I guess they did a reprint or something.

Alright, just let me know what you decide to do.

If we get tired of smashing this weekend, I propose we play DQ9 whilst watching Scrubs. Or we could get a little crazy and play some LAN game (I'll have both my laptops so don't worry about your Mac not being able to play ****). Maybe Spring? :bee: I know you like Starcraft but I dunno how into the RTS genre you are beyond that, but Spring has some really interesting and original stuff you won't see in big commercial game. It's pretty deep and complex, but there are plenty of ways we could play co-op together, and the various AIs in Spring are much smarter than the AI in commercial games.

Coolio! It'd be nice to have someone to play with. I used to play a bit with Bandit but I mostly just played the various AIs (most of which kick my ***). I could hold my own against people online for the first few months after it came out, but now most of them just wreck me. It's actually been awhile since I played Spring. Sure looks gorgeous on my new laptop though :chuckle:

There's a pretty kickass trailer for Spring that someone made a long time ago. Lemme see if I can find it...

Keep in mind it's 4 years old and pretty outdated so Spring actually looks quite a bit better now (in fact, most of the unit models shown in this trailer are imported directly from a game that was released in 1997). I just think this is a really well-made trailer (especially the music, it just fits so well).
