I wouldn't say the final boss was that much better. It was about the same. The game overall had a lot more depth and some nice immersion. Gotta love those turrets. Really good game.

I didn't change anything. It's been like this since I first registered.

The + mark after someone's name delineates a mod at Smogon (which is where I used to be highly active on before smashboards). Two pluses delineated a super mod (IE Thunderhorse++) and an asterisk I think delineated an admin (Thunderhorse*). I registered after a number of my pals from Smogon joined up here soonish after Brawl was released. I used the name Thunderhorse on Smogon as well, but the name was taken on smashboards, so in part in-joke/part method of them recognizing me, I made my name Thunderhorse+ since they would recognize the plus sign as being something "carried over" from Smogon culture.

If you look at the "Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread" at the bottom, people you friended have an extra "+" at the end, so I guess Oliver is just everyone's friend.

If you all do come to the game convention you should bring project M. It might be a good way to advertise it. Also you should bring Dragon Quest 9.

It was lots of fun. Seb said it was the best night out at Adams Morgan he ever had...but he was really plastered at that point so take it how you will. He also got into fights with like 4 people, one of which included Clyde lol. But I don't blame him, people were acting like complete *****es that night (except Clyde lol. He had a good reason to be mad).

But yeah, really fun though. We were thinking we might go next week too + Luis since he backed out of this one too. You're more than welcome to come with.

Who wants in my Otakon room? Speak up now or forever hold your peace. Its gonna be roughly around $60-$70 for the weekend per person. Might be slightly a few dollars more depending on how many people we get. I'm aiming for 6.

Turns out I have a mandatory work meeting this sat. I can prolly still make Hagerstown (smash is at three right?) but I won't get there till about then. Just a heads up.

I should be able to make it to the Hagerstown tourney. I'll probably have to dip out really early on Saturday though to meet up with Clyde and the others so we can get to Adams Morgan at 10. But I imagine I can hang around until 7-8ish.

Also Starcraft 2? Pokemon Black/White? YAYIFICATIONS! Too bad Custap Berry and Dream World Charmander haven't been released stateside yet, otherwise the Pokemon tournament would already be mine.

And if no pros are going to be entering the tournament, I should be able to just 4gate everyone and still lock a pretty high spot XD.

SC2 tourney would be fun, but I haven't had a chance to play seriously in some time, so I'll need some time to get back into it. Also, I have to go to graduation that day or something. Unfortunately I'll probably have to retake a class. :(

It actually got nerfed in the recent patch. Not huge or any thing, but warpgate research takes longer now. Also, unless I'm misstaken you don't have a computer that can run SC2 which kind of complicate the competing in tournaments before.


JCeasar, I guess we get get to that portal 2 co-op soon now that I'm done with the semester. Should be good!

Hey JCz I might not be able to make it up for the weekend's activities. I caught a cold two days back and I was really hoping it'd sod off by now, but I feel kinda groggy still. I shouldn't be infectious but I still feel like crap. I'll give you a concrete answer by the end of work, but it's not looking too good atm.

Man did I get F'ed in the B on this one :s.

@ TH - man that sucks. Hope you feel better.

@ JCz - I don't know when I get off tomorrow. The meeting might be a half-hour - it might be ninety minutes. It depends on how long it takes the higher ups to get finished with their spiel and how many people have questions. I plan on leaving for Hagerstown as soon as it's finished tho (guestimate around 2ish)
