I think a good way to get players from coast to coast, is if regions do side events, with all the money on the side event going to players for travel, for WC it would most likely have to be a joint effort between BC and AB to make the money. But I think that might be the best way to get things like these done.

It seems like the best option. However, what if a group is going rather than one person?

Yeah that's a pretty big issue considering the prices on tickets from coast to coast. I could honestly only see the money strictly going to one person, or being split up amongst them. If donations were thrown in a paypal account, like Cali is doing that would also make it easier. But no one is going to donate from outside of Canada to watch Canadians play each other, unlike Cali. Maybe even taking out a small percentage of the pot from the main event for so many tournaments before the big show happens would also scratch in some dough for more people to make an appearance.

But again the biggest issue is just lack of attendance on WC, so money wouldn't come in as quickly like EC tournaments, which as far as I know average over 20 people, no?

Tinman was able to make it here because of homo-oli-love but not sure if anyone here would be willing to throw down a few hundred from their own pocket to make TO joe's appearance happen. So smaller things would have to be setup for an extended period of time I'm thinking.

Attendance on WC is low? That's really unfortunate. I think the best thing to do would have the WC players come to EC.

Generally, have usually have anywhere between 30 - 40 players per tournament.
