lol my intention was to try to encourage the mk ban. If i got far with mk without even really practicing him, then I would be able to prove my point. its true my wario is slipping, but thats not the main reason i went mk. I even went mk in pools and teams which wasnt very necessary but I just wanted to leave an impression that mk is gay. We just needed more representatives to speed the process.

J.L: Unfortunately, I don't think you using MK will really help the cause. You see, you're second/third on our PR. You using and MK and placing high isn't a testament to how broken he is, it's a testament to your skill. Now...let's say a non PR scrub (such as myself) picked up MK and started ****** tournaments (I'm talking consistantly top 8), that would push MK closer and closer to a ban. But not you Julian. From watching youtube vids of Ally it's clear that he's more broken than Metaknight.

And, as we all know, youtube vids are the only way to make accurate dissertations about the state of Brawl's relative balance or imbalance.

So... yeah. No Snake. He doesn't have bad matchups, and he's good on all the levels. His camping game promotes camping and he shuts down approaches too good and he's the only character capable of stringing legitimate consecutive hits.

He's too good.

He should have been banned a while ago. Even GimpyFish said he should have been banned and he's like the authority on competitive Brawl.

You are amazing... and don't worry, my sarcasm detector isn't broken like nickcam's.

Seriously though, Ally winning the last..3(?) tournaments with Snake should be proof enough that MK isn't ban-worthy. We don't even have a lot of MK's... Ambrose played MK against Lain at LBT, but they also agreed to no IC's before that match, KingAce didn't even make top 8 with MK at LBT (no disrespect to KingAce) and he's one of the best players around here.

MK being banned at Niko's is fine...treat it as an experiment in character diversity imo (even though I believe we have one of the most diverse metagames around).

I was dying for MK to be banned, it's just that SBR offically said he is not, making the situation to ban MK harder to justify. It sucks, MK is gay but he is not offically banned, but if he is at Niko's, whatever then better for many of us.

lol i dont know how many times i said this but if u look at the past couple of gtan tournies (goml, oin2 and lbt)
mk didnt dominate any of those placings :S

the only mks that actually placed top 8 were like me ambrose and jl and even then mk didnt dominate the top spots:S

niko step it up your getting scrubbier with every tourny man u lose to a yoshi and zelda :S not even mks are beating u lmfaoooo n no sleep johns you can ask gi erix or mdk we got like maybe 45 minutes of sleep before one of ur most competitive triweeklies and i still managed to come 2nd in singles and 1st in doubles with MDK... and MDK came 3rd at that tourny too all of us running on 45mins-1hr of sleep

banning mk will be an interesting experiment, although the only thing i see changing is phil not placing nearly as well as he does. id be surprised if he made top 5.

there r only sum characters where MK is totally impossible to beat, like sonic,cf and luigi, maybe a cupel of others. Other Characters can still have a chance of beating him.
