snake probably is better than mk is that specific matchup, but against the rest of the cast, Id say MK is greater.

Wait, what? Weegee is one of the characters who actually goes nearly even with MK. Powershield -> Fire Punch is too good.

As far as I'm concerned, nobody in GTA excessively planks with MK so he doesn't give characters unwinnable matchups until you hit low tier (and perhaps a chunk of mid tier).
If KingAce (and the other MKs I suppose) actually played gay and planked for chunks of minutes at a time (because that sh*t actually IS uncounterable atm), then I could see people complaining about how MK is so gay but he doesn't.
If Snake counters MK then enough complaining about MK and how gay he is. Learn MK, Snake, or accept he's going to be a *****. If one character counters MK that's enough to have the triangle relationship of
MK / Anti MK / Anti-Anti MK
And since Snake has plenty of counters apparently (although they seem to do sh*t against Ally) that should be enough to open up the same type of character diversity we see in most games where there's a clear best character (and a degree of imba).

Wigi has even less air control than Meta and no disjoints. He's also got bad approach, no range, and his combos are all useless because of Meta's dair.
Also, nado.

to avirice i dont no much bout luigi or mk, but ino MK's sword has SA frames or some **** like that, plus even if mk's fair got perried, there wouldnt be enough range for shroyuken to hit mk.

but seriosly, if luigis could get in metas face, wed have no problem, metas ariels come out to fast, have to much priority, and luigi struggles with any disjointed hitbox. or swords lol. then we have tornado.. its like.. frig. lol
like i would say, that g+w is probably his next toughest matchup, and its really hard ot beat a g+w that is betetr than you, but tis still posiblt if you play smart. im not looking forward to this..bucket canceling business going on... xD

I'm for the MK ban, seeing sliq get whorenadoed out at OiN2 was enough.
But really, I saw very few Meta-Knights and WAAY more Snakes, pretty much at a 2:1 ratio.
It'll be interesting to see though.

yeah tahts what im saying , like, luigis main kills are vertical (upb and up angled fsmash, if g+w is living 200+% theres no way well win lol, im sure its dificult but still, ittle beinteresting, i play a bit of g+w aswell, mostly for metaknights when the match acualy matters.

luigi would just own if he hast faster air movement, he falls so dam slow and moves sideways through the air so dam slow. if he head betetr ariel movement he would ****. but.. all these are what ifs, may aswell use what weve got.

As for disjoints: space with fireballs.
As for nado: You can shield and fire punch through it, I've done this to Zen.
Not saying it's a great matchup, I'm just saying Weegee does a lot better against MK than most other mid/low tiers.
julian well see, i mean im a true mk main and there arent really many of them in this scene mostly ppl that just switched but i used him from day 1 when i didnt even know wat air dodging was so obviously this ban will hurt me... but hoenstly if you think that ill MM you for $20 and ill bet ANYONE else that ill still place top 8 $5... like im not tryna take anything away from pastaboy cuz hes a solid player but i managed to beat him without using mk lmao so i dunno y u think like that jl but then again actions spek louder than words.. so MM me =)

Totally, lets say Ace still wrecks this tourney like he ususally does (cause he never gets matched against me in brackets... mwah ha ha ha)... well if he does wreck without MK it will show just how awesome he is in gerneral. This tourney will also allow people to take out their sleeper Characters that they wouldn't normally use due to MK being too good... ie. My PT.

PT isn't unusable because of MK, for you hes unusable because your Lucario is just way sexier in every situation. But yeah no MK will make life a lot better for PT, now only D3 and Falco really make him unplayable.
