Yeah, so I don't see what's so great about him. He knows when to switch opponents (like all good team players), he knows how to abuse platforms (most good Marth's do), but he rushes into shield too much and spams f-smash.

He really needs to learn when to DS (like while shielding tornado)... he could have killed rob first stock way earlier and the 3 times he used it his first stock were not good (all the opponent had to do was shield to stop it).

He also had some obvious approaches watch how many times he just rushes into the opponents shield to get punished.

Spamming f-smash isn't good in singles and still isn't good in teams (this is coming from someone whose won multiple team tournies).

Edit: I wish I had the tourney recording where the other team was at low percent 1 stock versus me alone ~80% percent 1 stock. Between them hitting each other and me just putting up a wall they end up both going to 110% while I'm at about 130% and I tipper d-smash both of them on both sides of me ftw.

Ya, I'm actually relatively defensive for a Marth (not saying I'm too defensive, I'm not hot for fair and fsmash all the time tho). CK's pretty good tho, and while every great marth seems to have something wrong, I kinda would say that Roy R is good if he didn't full hop so much.

He still did some cool stuff, but everyone needs improvement. He did perform well in the tournament in a tough region, so while I'm not meat riding by any means, I would just like to say that he still seems to be performing at a higher level overall.

I need grammar helps lol.

I liked them Marth dittos. Maybe I'm crazy lol.

I still play Mario, but I have grown to like the Marth boards more.

Also, I like Marth as a character more in this game in terms of playstyle.

Mario was my all-time favorite in Melee though. Got 4th at my very first tourney with him (included all of the origianl NC beasts there too).

Fair enough. There are gayer characters than Marth though....I won't get into all of that with one of my more respected smashers though.

Your Mario is a beast and I love watching you play him bro.

im pretty well known around here

and probably ec > wc in smash but wc > ec in life (girls jobs college weather etc.) so who cares?

edit: and when you come wc how about $25 my marth your mario brawl, $25 my marth your mario melee, $200 my anything your mario 64

Edit: Of course this will never happen but if it did he would probably beat me in melee (more matchup experience), but I would be very surprised if I lost in Brawl (I'm way better than any videos of me out Steel taught me spacing and stage control :p), and I haven't lost in 64 for a looong time (last time would be Isai omg).
