Man what are you guys doing to my brain?

I find Jake more and more attractive with each day.

Where as I didn't think TOO much of him before.

THIS is my favorite pic of him

In random Peach related questions, what are some of the best ways to close distance to her without getting slapped by her

If you're an extremely smart player, pick Game and Watch.

If you're an average/good player, pick Peach.
Game and Watch requires a lot of unorthodox play / extremely hard reads to be anything worthwhile.

You can be a bit above average, play Peach, and still do well.
This is so so so so untrue.

The funny thing is you know this yourself since in your last post you contradict yourself by saying

Peach can barely create any game changing reads, lmao.

Both characters are really hard to use at top level.

If you're an average player - stick with Game and Watch.
Except for the bolded part (GW is not "really hard" at top level play), this speaks the truth.

I didn't contradict myself.
Game and Watch is EXTREMELY hard at top level play, lmao.
I'm around 2 of the best Game and Watches in the world like 24/7.

No, he is not, lmao. He has some ugly flaws, but that doesn't make him hard to master. "BUT HE NEEDS REAAAADS". GW has enough moves to put his opponents in terrible positions and set up a smash attack or kind of kill move. To add to that, if he makes a succesful read, he kills his opponent. Every other character has to read as well (Peach is a great example), but rarely do they have the privilege of instantly killing their opponent.

At top level play every character is extremely hard to play but GW remains relatively easy to average.

I'm around 2 of the best Game and Watches in the world like 24/7.
Doesn't matter. But just to get a bit of credibility, I have also played several times with one of the best Game and Watches in the world. He is a European player who is actually acknowledged by American players!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Must be kind of a big deal.

I turned on my TV 5 minutes ago and Jake was on my TV. Jarhead is on FX right now.

then I had to change my pants, he took like shirt off and his passion and thrust was too much for my will, I couldn't resist the urge.

I just play Moderate computers. Or my family. I'm afraid I'll be crushed if I play someone online.

CY, you serious about seeing him on tv?

I won my very first game online; I was so happy.

Then I proceeded to lose 47 in a row. Its more enjoyable and not so bad once you get into it. The community is decent too.

And your text hurts my eyes. :c

Oh it's not a random pairing for games? I thought you didn't know who you played.

And is the community really competitive? Do they have a tier list and stuff?

yaaay, he was saying

gaw is very easy to use, but very hard to master.

so if you're average, just use gaw.
if you're above average, you'll just get frustrated with GaW because he's very hard to use at that level, so you should go to peach.
if you're godlike, you can overcome it and gaw will be better again.

Unfortunately I play neither since I'm into Starcraft, but I can try to find a copy of AoEII.

Ah I see, then that is a misunderstanding.

Not that I agree though 8D

That Is good news but Gay Men have sex quite often lol. 1 year is quite sometime. Sounds unhealthy to me...... not sure if thats still a good thing. Sounds as if we are being tolerated only if an outrageous circumstance has been met.
No more so than straight men. (Speaking of which, I like how you capitalised it ;))

Ideally, there wouldn't be any time ban at all, but it's a start, right?
This is actually pretty good. A year though sounds a little long. Still, it's a start.
Actually it's more like an end:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-12442375

Just to mention that's our Right Wing introducing that, to show the vast difference between our countries when it comes to freedom.

And just because some of you probably wont read this far down I'll just quote one part of the article:

Marriage between people of the same gender is not legal in the UK but civil partnerships were introduced in 2005 to give couples the same legal protection as if they were wed.
Also another bit about the armed forces from Wikipedia:

The British military actively recruits gay men and lesbians, all three services have deployed recruiting teams to gay pride events, and punishes any instance of intolerance or bullying. The Royal Navy advertises for recruits in gay magazines and has allowed gay sailors to hold civil partnership ceremonies on board ships and, since 2006, to march in full naval uniform at a gay pride marches. British Army and Royal Air Force personnel could march but had to wear civilian clothes until 2008, now all military personnel are permitted to attend Gay Pride marches in uniform
In 2009, the tenth anniversary of the change of law that permitted homosexuality in the Armed Forces, it was generally accepted by all that the lifting of the ban had no perceivable impact on the operational effectiveness on a military that still considers itself world class. The anniversary was widely celebrated, including in the Army's in house publication Soldier Magazine, with a series of articles including the July 2009 Cover Story and articles in all the many national newspapers.
So yeah it's less of a start and more of an end. The US is renowned for being one of the most socially backwards countries in the West, it's completely different here.

I used to think that gay marriage was allowed everywhere. I remember I was very surprised when this was not the case. It also caused a bit of disappointment: I thought the world was more modern and open-minded than that.

Honestly I find it very sad to hear you saying that this is a good start... it's more like an extremely late start.

I believe Spanish and Japenese are top tier depending on the map.

Their ships are unrivaled.

Japanese also have the Samurai which crush enemy special units, for example teutonic knights or even trebuchets.

Huns **** at rushing because they don't need houses.

So I'd say they are up there.

Byzantines have a unit for everything too, but I've never seen a person use them :p

Well I'm not very worried about how I play during Denti's tourney that much. I realized that some people are worse than me. I don't roll nowhere near that match, air dodge when I'm hit (though I still have trouble DIing 100%) and glide toss as much as possible.

Though a few months ago I used to dair and jab a lot, but now it's different. I really need to try using jab instead of nair all the time and stop that excessive shielding. Playing as Dedede over Wi-Fi a few times, shielding a lot for that CG has built onto my playstyle and it's not fitting for Peach.

Mecha, you started reminding me of something.

What is probably the best advice you can give people starting out?

To me, I think the first step is just going out there and watching videos or play with people who use a character your interested in playing. Mimicking the stuff that works for other people who play well is extremely useful for getting your foot in the door. I recall doing this so much when I started learning melee and brawl. It saves you so much trouble of trying to invent stuff yourself and speeds up how quickly you get into the game.

Even if you don't have anyone to play against, videos are such a great tool. You can watch a video of someone else play, then try to mimic that style against the CPU. At least that way you start developing habits that will be good once you get accustomed to the full extent of what those options are useful for.
