I have come to the conclusion that I can not play aggressive with peach for my life. This is now added to my training with learning match ups I am not use too. its funny how I can break down playing aggressive yet can't do it. I play like I just started the game. This is gonna tale a really long time. At this right, I might not even be entering tournaments till next winter.

I have this same problem. But I just sat down with Kel, and he would tell me when I was attacking too much. And it seemed to help. Now I'm attacking less.
Maybe you need to play with someone and have them tell you when you're seeing red when you play, so you can stop. Sometimes we do it without ever knowing it. O_O

Don't really have anything like that. I had to learn this character and this game on my own since day one. I could play defensive and win but I wanna insure I get my wins better. I don't wanna limit myself anymore. I grown tired of this. For for this to happen I need to learn how to play aggro. I might be the easiest person alive to beat aggro.

Dark Pch, when we played I honestly didn't notice the difference in playstyles aside from like the first two Peach dittos we did.

Well, it was just like positioning / spacing.

When we got down to the wire (kill percentages) we saw tons of that stuff.. but honestly we were playing the Peach ditto extremely well, in my opinion.

I dont mean just the Peach dittos. One one game was good cause I decided to wait a lil instead of playing aggressive since me playing aggressive annoys me. But I am talking about how I played in general. I played a yoshi aggressive like I played you after we finished. He beat the **** out of me. I could not touch him. I played my usual way and I tore him a new a-hole.

Times I can't just sick back. I have to go in. If even if i win this way, I still could have done better and reduce the chances of losing. Like Gvastar said in the video thread, dont be afraid to go in. I don't like going in alot cause I fail at it hard. I have to force people to come to me. or throw the first punch.

I have to fix this somehow.

I picked up a lot of stuff by watching you, Nicole, Yami, King Beef, Kyle, and Leon over a two months period of time. I had to learn how to not back off and become more defensive while still having good mixups. I'm still not the best at it, but watching videos definitely helped. Oh yeah, Nordal is really underrated too.

The best Peach, in my opinion, is one that is primarily aggressive, extremely creative, and like thirty percent defensive.

Aggressive > Defensive options to me, but that's just my playstyle.

I watched vids. it honestly does nothing for me cause I simple can't mimic someone.

best Peach too me is one that is 50% of both. Cause you can handle any option well. Pure balanced.

being defensive I can see all that is coming my way, and react to it. I also have more time to plan things out. I also see what makes a player tick and adapt to what one does. Thats why I can make reads really good. this also gives me time to just **** with peoples heads and bait stuff. I can't react good or do any of that aggressive.

Which I find so ******** cause I play melee and react quick as hell. Plus that is a fast game. Fact I can't do it in a slow game is just sad. I feel like I am playing this game for the first time all over again. Though the the Beast that is named Mike G took 1000000000000000000 loses to become the beast that he was. So this is something that will no way in hell come fast for me. this natrually has to happen.

Man what a pain.

I think defensive is the best.. I mean playing defensively you have less to lose. But when your aggro people can just shield and punish you.

My main problem with Peach (in both games, actually) is I tend to try and attack a grounded opponent to land safely. I'm just so afraid to airdodge into the ground or at all, because it's soooo bad. How do I land safely with Peach? All I know is throwing out attacks.

Thats the problem. Throwing out attacks like that is gonna get you *****. What I usually do is just weave left and right. I really don't throw out attacks or air dodge. Cause I know people are expecting it and try to bait me to do things. So Me knowing this, I reverse what they think they know if that makes any sense to you.

Like even if you are in my face, I would really air dodge, Unless I know my opponent is too hungry and just wants to attack.

A solo style is not gonna get anything done. Which is why I am trying to learn aggro but cant do it for my life. I have even gotten comments from top players after apex that my game is solid. I been playing D for years. But they also say I can't sit back too much. Which is true. ether way I have only got this far with peach cause of my D game. so to each his own.

And you also say, (if she slips up). When I am on point I rarely do. Im a mindgame type of player. And i can read habits. Thus the only reason I can do damage going straight D. I rather have someone swinging at me all the time then me worrying on approaching them. it has gotten me alot of solid wins. maybe this maybe the reason i can't play aggro.

BTW, you play aggressive on meta knight and marth and watch your *** get tossed around. All that safe aggression and etc, meta/marth aint havent that. or did you people forget? Thats why Both styles are a must. not just one.

This is all I rely on. My mindgames only get me so far, as well as reading people. put the proper execution is what determinds a strong outcome. So I need to be versitale. There is gonna be a time to go in, and then there is gonna be a time to run and sit back. Evreything has its uses and meanings. And I have to do it all.

So I couldn't sit my driving test today because the brake light on my car flased very VERY slightly along with my indicators.

I threw a **** fit over the phone to the RSA and they gave me another test tomorrow for free.
