I know, I just equate it to like, Capcom making Chun Li suck in a Street Fighter game. Or Orchid sucking in KI, or uh...Xianghua sucking in Soul Calibur?

Well I do like that opening better than the two console op's. Especially compared to CS's.

However, nothing compares to CS's original arcade op imo.

I agree, it's definitely better than the original CS opening. Better song too imo.

There's another new system mechanic in CSII. Corner Bounce (or Bound)? Copy-pasta'd from DL: Red effect appears when they hit the corner, they fall down like they got hit with a knockdown. Most interesting property is the untechable time buff, most of the moves that corner bounce are untechable in air.

Formerly 'Werekill' and 'NeoTermina'
I am a few days late on this, but the person who did that used a dual modded TE to test the inputs on both of the systems at the same time, and it was found that the PS3 version runs about 1-3 frames slower (not input lag). The TV did not matter due to the fact that if the were both the same but one was laggier we would have seen the same combo on both, just slightly delayed on one.

On a note about the latest loketest, apparently no character is looking overpowered or underpowered so far, which is a very good thing. Even Makoto, who got hit by quite a few nerfs, still looks pretty strong, and still has some of the highest corner damage
.
Well, I would love to see what cables he was using, whether or not the ps3 was set to the native res of the tv, and a bunch of other things. :/

Anyway, other than the very few Noel buffs (although I think some CR parts got sped up)I like the changes so far, especially because I recently picked up Tager. :3

Man, I need to start back playing more.

I like how the general art design is different with each installment, lol.
lol Silly Gonzo. I know their studio is usually low on budget, but it is funny how inconsistent they are.
I still find Calamity Trigger OP animation the best. As for best song, I don't know just yet.

I guess that's fair. I'll still play Noel regardless.

CSII new opening song, now with accompanying video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9c19-lXO1A&feature=recentu
The beginning part of that is like the most typical anime intro ever.

Far shot of characters.
Close up of characters faces.
Characters move slightly.
Repeat for the entire first verse of the song.

Still pretty good though. But the Platinum panty shot struck me as really weird. Really? You're just gonna do that right away?

When I saw that part, I thought it was Makoto (because the heart tie thing looked like her tail at first), then they zoom out to show it's Platinum.....

HAWT!

Might just sig that or something, lol.

I didn't even notice the fanservice shot on Makoto. It was moving so fast.

They actually just pause on Platina's booty for a whole second or two.

Doesn't matter how far they go with their fanservice. Arcana Heart 3 will forever remain unmatched.

So far the opinion on Lambda from people who have played the loketest is that while the DP will be missed she has alot more fun stuff she can do.

Lambda is far from being terrible imo. She still has a lot of options, and her buffs look pretty good. Yeah, it sucks that she doesn't have a reversal anymore, but a lot of characters don't.

Freaking curse combos. It's almost as annoying as going against Tager as Noel, having him down to a sliver of health, and then having him win with one freaking Super Tager Buster that takes away 2/3 of your health.

It's from Panty & Stocking.

I feel your pain, Werekill. I've been playing nothing but Accent Core for a bit, and my timing is all wonky, and I keep messing up my combos. So, I'm a bit rusty. :I
