CT arakune even toned down would still be ridiculously good, especially with the bugs he has now.

Moving while cursed basically means you're gonna get hit.
I guess it would be kinda cool if counter assaults/bursts got rid of curse, though.

Arakune's pretty much always going to be a gimmicky character no matter what they do with him though.

What is this "tutorial" you speak of?

Actually, anybody remember when they had those Tutorial/combos/strategies videos for each of the characters on that bonus disc that came with the Limited Edition of CT? And am I the only one who actually kind of tried to use that?
I never used it. It was a cool idea at first but the in-game tutorial and challenges do a good job.
And personally, the way I learn combos is memorizing them by just watching them. I never write them down. Been doing that for every BB.
I like being able to hit out of curse. :/

Just tone him down instead of the not great until godlike character we have now.
One-hit curse was scary though. Luckily I was Rachel. XD

That's pretty much a good description of me and Spelt (Spelt to a greater degree though).

You should usually follow up cavalier with 236d or 5c > 214a unless the combo has already been going for awhile and it's been prorated enough to where those won't hit. cavalier > 236d is a really tricky link though.

oh, ninja'd by lilseph.

You can tell if an opponent is unlimited because their names at the top are flashing purple.

Unlimited hazama also has a green aura thing.

The green aura thing IS THE WORST. >:(

But I just got him into a corner and destroyed him with standing a's and Hells fang and he couldn't do much about that despite the fact that at mid screen he was anti-air'ing me and jumping over hells fang on reaction.

I fear playing computers will give me bad habits.

They probably will. :p

Computers are good for practicing some things though, like combos.

I fight against computers a lot.

Fun fact: on the old CS score attack's Hazama, you could get it to 236236B just by mashing 5A at full screen... it was one of the few and only ways to exploit the beast it otherwise was lol

you can do more things kinda like that with other computers too.
like you can make a tager spark bolt by jabbing or safe jumping an aerial and then blocking.

computers are silly.

Yeah, I noticed that computers do the same exact thing in certain situations. In fact, playing story mode a bit, and I noticed this. Certain CPUs will always start each and every match with a certain move and proceed to follow a specific attack pattern.

Terrible computers in this game.

I'd like to know one fighter that actually has a good CPU.

Without being a broken character that is.

Soucalibur 5 legendary souls computers are godlike. Probably the most versatile computers i've ever seen in a fighting game that rely on mixups instead of input reading.

Well...
except for the occasional psychic super. Thats bull ****. :I

Skullgirls CPUs know combos.

I don't find them bad on normal, they're actually pretty cool, but with GGPO netcode I don't really need to fight them. :/

I haven't really even fought CSE's CPU outside a couple arcade runs and a little bit of abyss, I always netplay for random fights over CPUs.

I've noticed that CPU Iron Tager is really hard too. I guess it wasn't just my imagination.

The computer is a cheating *******.

CT Hakumen...
THE HORROR.

I remember first picking up CT and trying to go through story mode... Haku's speech was intimidating for reasons other than simply his words, every time you heard it you knew you had another 15 minutes of trying to just beat him coming your way. I know it was probably a deadly combination of being a n00b since BB just released and Haku cheating hard, but I still remember it lol.

Speaking of Hakumen, is it me, or is he now faster than in CT?

Also, I'm re-learning Ragna, and getting back my flow from CT. Still gotta practice inputs for Rising Inferno and Gauntlet Hades, along with their followups.

Plus, add in re-learning Bang. Still love to abuse his Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan technique, even though I really shouldn't, but only for the awesome theme song. XD

Well, I meant that I shouldn't use it EVERY time I get the chance to. So like, every match, every round, I will use Fu-Rin-Ka-Zan. I need to stop doing that, despite at how awesome it is.

You don't HAVE to fu-rin-ka-zan every time you're able to.

Why are we encouraging use of frkz? I wish that move didn't exist...
