Away from you.
Eh I need to learn some of the strings challenge mode offers anyway. I am on mission #12 for Lambda so I may get them all completed eventually.

Oh, I fought that person the other day, I got destroyed. :3

I don't feel like playing tonight, but I may watch.

Not that I've ever joined a stream anyways, so I guess that doesn't really matter. :/

Hooooly crap! YOU PLAY TVC? I love that game.

Ryu/Morrigan and Zero/Yatterman-2, baybee.
Yeah I do! It's super fun.

It's a shame that no one here plays it competitively; as far as I know only two other people here have ever bothered to play it offline, and I've beaten both of them, so... =P

I use Roll/Casshern and occasionally the Ryu/Morrigan combo as well. :bee:

BlazBlue reminds me of TvC thanks to the cancel/baroque system and the fact that aerial combos are possible, but not stupidly overdone like MvC3. Bleh. :woman:

I play TvC as well. Well, not so much of it lately though. As for my team in that game, I would always run a Morrigan/Soki team.

Yeah, but that's only for BlazBlue, and a select few games. Wish there was some kind of master screen adjust option.
Just adjust your TV's settings. Not sure if it'll work, but its worth a shot, right?

Saki/Souki~

Yeah, the only problem with playing on a CRT is that you're probably going to be free to pink throws because you can't see the exclamation points. :I

Anyways, where's a good place to start when I first boot up Extend for the first time in a couple of days?

crts in 2012? i think not!

jk they're really expensive
DLP TVs are the greatest TVs ever made for HD Gaming. No input delay whatsoever with controls (even with HDMI I feel it with my Samsung TV for the PS3. But on my Toshiba DLP? Nothing)

CRT TVs however still remain the best TVs for gaming in general, whether it's HD or standard. The only ones suitable for playing Wii/GameCube/PS2/XBox on at least due to zero delay in controls on those.

That's the one thing that ticks me off about new televisions. All this lovely picture but controls get shafted for some reason even with HD cables.

If you've never played BB before, Tutorial is pretty dry, but it teaches you everything. Or Challenge mode, if you want to get a feel for a character and what they can do.

After that, training mode~

It all depends on the tv, though. My LCD flatscreen has almost no lag whatsoever, and I only say almost because I've never actually sat and measured it.

Anyway, I'm still relearning this game. >_<

Blazblue has the best tutorial I've ever come across.

Blazblue knows you're in scary, unfamiliar territory and it holds your hand through all the scary shadows and creepy crawlies while it coaxes you deeper into its wonderland until you're suddenly in the land of rainbows and my little ponies and big-titted babes/flat-chested foxes.

Street Fighter grabs you by the throat and chucks you into a lion's den. It also gives you a gun with no ammo and tells you that you're supposed to use the gun as a shield.

What is this "tutorial" you speak of?

Actually, anybody remember when they had those Tutorial/combos/strategies videos for each of the characters on that bonus disc that came with the Limited Edition of CT? And am I the only one who actually kind of tried to use that?

I spent like, half an hour writing down the combos and then getting pissed that I hadn't written down if they were midscreen, corner combos, or character specific. Plus, I'd forget if the whole ")x2" thing would mean to do just one part twice, or the whole thing twice.

lol The tutorial is alright in BlazBlue. I'll only ever use it for any of the new characters, or just for the Achievement. But I loved it at how Rachel described Stylish mode. XD

I don't miss Nu.

Still debating if a modified CT Arakune would be more fun to fight than what we have now though.

How modified are we talking? Because CT Arakune was really stupid.

Also I miss Nu. I like her way more than Lambda. Nu was just straight up cooler.
